  • Oh yea this was pretty fun XD

  • That is hard^^

  • we were getting high with this shit is el tahrir .

  • I had to do pushups in the gas chamber after doing my Pauly Shore impersonation. OOOOOOOOOW BUDDY!

  • We're inhaling that in Tahrir square .. Not bad

  • They r nuking us with that gas here in tahrir square, Egypt

  • @Helmotivation they also use the CR Gas and tabun, SOBs

  • can you get high on it?

  • Comment removed

  • @phoenix22567 I knew there would be a comment like that here....

  • wath a bunch of pussys in the norwegian marin core i had to sing norwegian national song in the gas camber and still dident act like them....

  • Tip: breath like you sipping air. take small ass doses of breath. you're so done if you get a lung full, cough and then suck in more.

  • best experience in basic training ever, asked the DS to go again but they told me HELL NO! anyone who does and has a stuffy nose will feel great afterwards as for the rest of us no benefits except a unique experience :D

  • This gas sucks. You can't breathe, you can't see, etc..

What it feels like on the skin: Imagine the worst razor/sun burn you've ever had and someone is constantly scratching it. Curious about it? Give it a shot!

  • Why flap your arms?

  • @matthewR77 To get the CS gas thats on your clothing off.

  • Who wants chowder?

    c;

  • I guess its not that hard to make 20 grown men cry.

  • Just did 2 small grenades in an 8x10 room with about 8 foot ceiling a few hours ago. I now hate CS gas. Probably would do taser again before that crap.

  • haha yea that is weak sause only 5 tablets of cs at a time in an entire room. try a 125 tablet canister in your fighting hole. brc yea yea

  • Ahhhh cant beat CS Gas training, just had my annual dose this morning, good way of waking up!!!

  • Lol CS gas can't kill. If you black out, the effect will wear off and you will breathe normally while blacked out.

It's only intended to disarm/confuse, not to harm.

  • @THEiNTRANETZ after you have done a military grade OC course this is easy

  • it don't taste like chicken thats for damn sure!

  • It pretty bad at the time (alot of memories there) but to be honest after its all done and you were with your buddies it was a funny story to always look back on. One of our guys put his fist through the glass of the door in a panic because the asshole Corporal put his foot in front of the door when were meant to be out.

We were doing a 'man' test so they called it lol, so we werent allowed to enter with the masks it was a case of take a deep breath, walk in and then your on your own. Memories

  • Once you've experienced the full volume of CS Gas, you don't ever want to experience it again. This is like nothing compared to the full strength of CS Gas(This is only about 1/10th of it).

  • A few months ago me and my fellow privates went through a gas-chamber similar to this.. Some of my mates seemed to be resistant to the gas. They stayed in the chamber for about 20 minutes, and did 50 push-ups each, while others stayed for only 20 seconds and ran out..

  • Any FNGs going through basic, trust me, it ain't that bad. It looks worse than it is, don't freak out because it's not gonna kill you. It kinda feels like a bad sunburn on the skin and makes you feel like you got a bad case of pneumonia, but it disappears within a minute or two after you're out.

  • Why????!!!!

  • no boy army do this in the world! crazy marican army!

  • @gamekiiid Australian army does it

  • @GunnerSquiz okei but this is crazy! i didnt help nothing! you cant survive in kemikal or biologic bombs if you dont have mask some gas are so strong if you have mask you dead too.

  • @gamekiiid Danish army does it too. Maybe you should do some research, crazy afghan kid.

  • can you be in the army without going through the gas chamber?

  • @brandonm1392 hahahaha no.

  • @brandonm1392 No its basic training !¡

  • @brandonm1392 Depends on your medical condition. Some people are allergic to certain things, which could harm you, and in worst cases be deadly. So yea, you can be in the army without going through this.

  • the cs that they use i the chamber isnt full strength

  • @kevinwolfe7522 In the danish army, we use a gas which is about 1/10 of the strength the police use during raids, etc.

  • Awesome this was my basic training class @ Ft. Benning, Georgia on 2006! Who posted this video?

  • Ah Yes remember the chamber well. When I was out of it, I got to avoid it because I just had laser surgery on my eyes

  • Fun experience

  • In any case, the point of what they're doing is to teach the soldiers that their chemical gear works (they wear it while in the chamber, and take the mask off so they can know there really was gas in the chamber with them). The general suckiness that is being exposed to CS gas, while an incredibly gentle experience compared to some of the actual weaponized stuff out there (VX is scary as shit) also shows them why they want to make sure they use the gear properly.

  • The most horrific snot I've ever seen following this same experience ahaha

  • "Hi mom I love you" so good hahaha

  • During NBC week after the 9 mi road march, there were old CS cans everywhere. We snuck over to the Drill Sargeants tent and hid a ton of these under the corners of the tent. Even after weeks they still make your eyes water.

  • I love going to the CS chamber, hopefully i get to go through one more time before getting out.

  • man FUCK cs gas

  • The most accurate way I've heard it described is imagine vaporizing Tabasco sauce. (Think of those little machines some people use when they've got a head cold).

It's one of those things that sucks when you're doing it, but some time after, you'll kind of want to do it again...don't know why, but you will.

And like some of these other guys have been saying, don't freak out and remember how to use your equipment and it'll go smoothly.

  • chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile: a tear gas that is stronger than CN gas but wears off faster; can be deployed by grenades or cluster bombs; can cause skin burns and fatal pulmonary edema, AMERICAN MILITARY SHEEP STOP BELIEVING WHAT THEY TELL YOU, its not ok for something that burns and causes fatal edema, which means you die because your heart cavity fills up with fluid and your heart stops, but dont worry your idiot fucking drill sarjeant says its ok

  • @hez1919 You know, some of us might give what you say some thought if you present it in an intelligent manner instead of calling us sheep (and using poor grammar too). As it is, you're sounding like a retarded fuckwit.

  • @Raguleader so you would disregard your own personal safety, and take poison because your bosses tell you, simply because of the way I present the information? if you were pointing the business end of a loaded weapon in your face you would expect to be called an idiot wouldnt you? but when your boss tells you the poison is ok and some random guy says you are an idiot then well its ok right? losing one such as yourself wont be a loss for humanity :)

  • @hez1919 My, you're such a charmer :-D

  • @Raguleader i do have a way with people :)

  • @hez1919 It's not a very good way though.

  • @Raguleader oh well

  • Those Dsgts are way nicer than Di's

  • I enjoyed the games....18 mile hump in MOP lvl 4 or somethin....stop after mile 9, take a little break, eat a little chow....then BAM!!!... F'ing CS grenade right in the middle of our circle. My MRE goes flying while I'm struggling to don and clear. good times man, good times!

  • I did this in the Marines so many times. I was Infantry so we got a regular dose of it.

  • it tastes like peppercorn with a little bit of chemical mixed in

  • lol hi mom i love you.

  • human ginipigs

  • @bikerboyzx Basically what it is. I bet over half of them dont even know what "Gulf War Syndrom" is.

  • from cs gas you can get a toxic pulmonary edema

  • oh jees..... is it possible to die from it?

  • @bartman464 Its possible to die from a Sharp cornered coffee table? do you wanna live forever?

  • why are all of them walking like zombies

  • cant wait for this

  • dude i didnt get no fucking suit. Just a mask.

  • do people react differently to it? mostly people say they experience what the guys in the video were going through, but i've heard it makes some people puke and some people faint too.

  • @dieDunkelheit123 some might puke, some will pee on theirself, eye's WILL close, might even make your nose start to run. we got to enjoy this earlier today as part of training. but not everyone will react the same.

  • OMFG when I did this shit we were all rolling around in the fucking ground and then some faggot refused to take his mask off so we were all like jumping in circles around him trying to get it off after 10 mins we flew out puking on ourselves and on others. Funniest shit i ever went through

  • i was fucken pumped up to hopp in the chamber and see what the cs gas really felt like. and indeed it feels like jesus comes and rips the life outta you and ur fightin to suck it back it. but once u hit the door and take the first step out its like blowing a load. i wanna record my bct video of the chamber n put it up here

  • OMG!! My CS gas training will be in 2 weeks!! This is fucking scary!!!

  • @8Dingerous8 so how did it go? lol. i did mine earlier today, it was a new experience.

  • @rdko7 well it was sux! big tym! haha!getting it to wear off my skin took tym..i was the 3rd group to go in.. N it was really really hot! seriously man! how was yours?

  • I'll eat lunch naked in the CS chamber before I get OC'D again. Semper K1LL.

  • @PASTYWHIP

    Agree

  • Embrace the suck, hooah? :D

  • yeh its been proved that it alters your cromozones and damages your next generation of children!Dont breath too deep!

  • must be army

  • people always come out droolin lol

  • possible stupid question, but what exactly does it do? just suffocate you...make you nauseous or what?

  • it irritates the mucus in your body make it feel like burning and forcing you to cough

  • I did that almost 6 months ago now and was in the chamber for 20 minuts literally 20 minuts getting smoked. A little side straddle hop and mountain climbers.

  • People always say stuff like "just hold your breath" but you can't. They ask you questions and make sure you breath that shit in. There was this one chick who refused to take off her mask, and everyone in there tackeled her and got that fucker off lol XD

  • lol.that r a little weird though.

  • what makes it worse is when the drill sergeant says he is not gonna let u out unless u sound off with the other platoon motto...of course we were dumb and sounded offf with our own..

  • not trying to sound like a badass but CS don't bother me that much. Well it does the same to me it does to most people, but I think its somewhat of a psychological thing. Me and the NBC guy from our unit were fogging up the chamber one time to see how much we could take. He outlasted me by over 2 minutes, but ran out and puked all over himself. Trick is to breath but try not to cough. Hard to quit coughing once you start.

  • actualy, some people have a resistance to it. You might be one of those people.

  • by watching these videos ive noticed that some peoople react better the second time and some resist it better...some cough but some just cry...

  • how long do they have to stay in there any way

  • i would guess about 10 mins...one guy on a comment said he stayed in a room for 20?

  • Comment removed

  • lol I remember one guy ran out screaming, "AAAAAAHHHH!!"

  • look like fort sill

  • no way i disagree... cs is worse than oc... its just that oc doesn't go away... but comparing the pain of both... cs gas is way worse bro....

  • I'll take this any day of the week over being hit by OC spray or an OC dust-round.

  • Aw, man...This stuff sucks!!! I guess I'd do it again though, absolutely nothing pleasant about it. One of the other Privates in the chamber with me completely freaked out and was clutching her face in abject horror, she ran for the door, but the DS yanked her back in, funny stuff.

  • Looks like something from the making of day of the dead

  • Did it this summer in my BMQ (canadian forces) and got raped by that fucking gaz lol, painfull yet funny times

  • God i just had to do this for the police academy like 12 hours ago....i have to say CS gas is the worst experience i ever felt in my life...it feels like your dying.... id take OC to the eyes anyday over CS...

  • CS good stuff. Will clear your sinus in a heartbeat. Stuffy nose ? Walk into the gas chamber. LMAO

  • I hoped for that. I had the crud when we went to the chamber...and it barely stung. Oh well.

  • best nasal decongestant money can buy ;)

  • CS gas is really no big thing. Just don't freak out, its not going to kill you. My 1st sergeant said, "its not going to kill you, its only designed to make really angry people go be angry somewhere else" Dont be scared of it.

  • my commander said something like that to us.

  • @gunnyEstrada gotta love the gas hut! unfortunately i have to go in for the 2nd time in a month. it's not that bad like gunny says but i just hate doing the decontamination drills... fucking gross.

  • @gunnyEstrada Yeah. And they also said DU munitions were safe to handle. Just because your 1st Sgt tells you something, doesnt mean its true lol....

  • PvtHudson98, i just medically retired from the army, obviously there are differences between army and marines but here's how CS works: moisture, and heat. when they make you take that mask off its gonna hurt, burn teary eyes coughing and snot and you just might puke. when you come out, keep your eyes open so that they dry out and the burn goes away quicker. Drill Sergeants wont lie to you. Follow what they tell you and you'll be okay. Good luck.

  • Other than Rappeling, this is the one thing I fear for when I enlist in the Marines lol.

  • Notice their hands. Don't touch your eyes or anything! Keep your eyes open so it doesn't crystalize. Use rocks, twigs, whatever to wipe away the streaming snot stream that WILL be falling out of your face. When I went through I had bronchitis, so this actually helped out tremendously.

  • Man CS fucks you up. I hate it

  • 1. wtf is cs gas?

    2. whats the use of this?

  • That shit sucks! Ironically while one of my DS was trying to harass us with CS the grenade somehow broke his thumb when he pull the pin and he just gassed himself.

  • Man, they got the hoods and everything? When I went in last year at Ft. Leonard Wood it was just the mask and I had a sunburn. That stung. I'm going in for the second time in an hour. Woohoo! I can't think of anything I'd rather do on my day off than choke.

  • Mad Dawgs lol! that was my platoon too.

    boom sha shoot to kill

    hooah 1/40 th Delta

  • yep thats ft sill place is americas asshole. i also got gased there.

  • wasn't that bad...

  • LOL thats fort sill. lol fuck that place i hated it.

  • Trad, Who said anything about diesel fuel? You may be "Jew wise" but you are uneducated in biochemistry. Execution by gas chamber was not "banned" in the USA because it 'didnt work.' HCN gas chamber executions were 100% fatal in all cases, none of which were more than 12 minutes. This is the same chemical called Cyclone or "Zyklon+B" in Germany. It is also PAINFUL.

Do you want to tell anyone in Bhopal, India that insecticide will not kill humans??? Look up MIC.

  • "Bug Spray" is mostly organo-phosphate based. It makes you sick but it's not immediately deadly. Zyklon+B was HCN or Hydrogen Cyanide or bug fumigation vapor agent. HCN is VERY deadly and as an execution means it works well but it's also painful.

What you see here is "CS" agent.

  • i just got a text from my boyfriend at benning: "i just got cs gassed." i REALLY wish i hadn't seen this. THANKS babe, really :P

  • LOL! The drill sergeants love that shit. I remember my gas chamber experiences. Glad to be a civilian again. ;)

  • HAHAHAHHA it wasnt even that bad i just did that like 8 weeks ago was cake i didnt even snot that bad, most people make the mistake of holding there breath if you breath from the get go u wont choke to bad

  • thats fort Sill

  • what is the purpose of this torture drill drill.????? what above their medical condition afterward???????

  • At 2:10 did that recruit say to easy DS

  • He said too easy drill sergeant

  • if they did this to terrorists, some would call it torture. just like waterboarding is used on some of our troops in training.

  • i remember this well...

  • American prosecutors at the main Nuremberg trial supported the steam story. As proof, a Polish government report dated December 5, 1945, was submitted as prosecution exhibit USA-293. It charged that Jews were killed at Treblinka "by suffocating them in steam-filled chambers." This report, which says nothing about poison gas killings, was published in the official Nuremberg trial record as document PS-3311.

They ate them ???? With Sauerkraut and Potatos ???

  • Good joke!

  • Is this fort Sill?

  • I think so, it's the only place for Artillery and that guy said hooah artillery in the video...

  • So its not your video then? I was only asking cause that area looks really familiar from when I was there. Its been 5 years since I was on Fort Sill

  • I understand why you asked. I was just simply telling you that I think it is Ft Sill. because of what one of the soldiers stated.

  • @anythinganytime It is FOrt Sill

  • bmq 0902 just starting this phase..

  • i did this when i was 16 in boot camp! it aint that bad! we had it so you could'nt see the walls with gas!

  • Some people take it differently. I coughed for the rest of the day after I came out.

  • why they need to open their arms n eye?

  • eyes to flush it out with tears, arms so they dont get on their knees

  • they prolly died in action by now this old ass video lol

  • I personally hate the OC more than the CS. The CS I can somewhat handle, the OC, however, wooo, FUCK that shit.

  • I'm so glad someone mentionned that. I'm due to face the CS in about (roughly) 6 weeks, and having worked in LE in past, have experienced OC. I couldn't believe how strong my reaction was to the OC (I didn't even wanna carry it) so I was not at all looking forward to the CS.

  • what is the oc?

  • Oleoresin Capsicum aka Pepper Spray.

  • bloody aweful stuff, has different effects on different people, some people r immune to it, i got halfway through me name, rank, number before i started choking haha

  • Haha, that was some good shit. My Senior DI found the video of my buddies and I spraying each other with OC/CS spray, yeah I got to stay in the gas chamber for a PT session with my mask off.

  • Ha ha! Good times! Is that Ft. Leonard Wood?

  • I would almost SWEAR that is fort sill (having just gone through that 4 weeks ago)

  • Its Ft Sill without a doubt

  • What type of gas(es) do they use in the chamber? Just out of curiosity...

  • CS Gas its a riot control gas

  • CS CR and CN gasses are used throughout the United States for initial introduction to combat training

  • Whatever the basis of your opinion might be, I don't care. But these aren't Marines. Marine recruits don't say "Yes, Drill Sergeant", only Army privates do.

  • saved your ass tho, huh?

  • I'm a Corpsman... Medic for the Marines in Laymen's terms... and I have one thing to say... Fuck you, sir. What is the basis of your opinion? Are all white people bigots? Do all Mexicans only like beans? That is about as general as fuckin' saying the grass is green... Say that to one of them, you asshole. I bet you wouldn't.

  • wow...BABIES!!!!! WOW!!! THE GAS CHAMBER IS NOT THAT BAD!! I LOVED IT!!!!!

  • ever been in one?

  • yeah...at fort benning...its not that bad..i wanna do it again!

  • haha wow, whats it like?

  • bullshit the cs chamber sucks i dont care who you are.. if it wasnt bad you prolly got a very small dose of cs gas.. be the last one in the company to go in and its hell

  • I remember I had the worst head cold from being in the field during a rainy week in San Diego. Went into the gas chamber and came out with no cold and a perfectly clear head, hahaha.

  • i memba i got dat cs gas shit in my face throat was hurting my forehead started to burn eyes were watering sneezqing bare luckily i didn't get it directly in my eyes so they didn't water that much you don't even need to spray alot for it to fuck you up aswell

  • I remember it well. Thanks.

  • shit, that looks like a lot of fun, god I can't wait to go to bootcamp!!! XD

  • we have to go in for 30mins and take our masks off 12 times within those 30mins saying our number rank and name after a few it gets horrible lol.

  • the bloody yanks are worse than the British lads mind u thou i will never forget Troop 1 most of them crying there eyes out and coughing and snot running from there eyes and yet i ran screaming yeahhh go again haha

  • (sigh)... Good times

  • My friend got CSed and he got in trouble because he kicked the door open to hard

  • HAHA!! love that stuff! i get to do it this next week too!

  • its tear gas

  • Its affects to respiratory system. It is used in crowded conflicts and it is not lethal. Only military use

  • Can someone please tell me what they actually do? I dont quite understand it... what gas do they use? is it lethal? what do they do once theyre in the chamber?

  • "I can't breathe!" Pansy. XD When I got gassed at PI, we were doing the "Mask Confidence Course." The second I started shaking my head in that chamber, the seal broke because I didn't have it on tight enough. I was breathing that shit for nearly 4-5 minutes straight. XD It's funny in retrospect.
