Crossed Market Street, knew Jerry was playing the warfield, bought some tickets on the street, got a gin and tonic, went to the floor and got floored. Whatever it was Jerry had it. Next show was backstage Oakland. The only time I ever saw Hells Angels and Housewives rubbing shoulders. Very cool and wierd. Then he was gone. Jerry had love and those who were there knew it. Say what you will, but Jerry was here and now, forget about tomorrow because it does not exist.

@sharegrace I once heard an interview where Jerry said he was working on a film project- trying to make Vonnegut's great book Sirens of Titan into a movie.

Just a wild guess: a dude who worshiped an agnostic like Vonnegut probably wasn't all that big on Jesus.

It's cool that you are- well, not really. I find Christians, on the whole, to be either very afraid or very lazy intellectually.

Read some Vonnegut- make Jerry proud!
