  • i should be writing death threats for that performance. Grow up.

  • Sounds like it's connected to Satan himself....!!!

  • nice sound,go on.i also do have anelectribe now,i use it together with other analogue euqipmen like the kaoss pad, mpc, electribe etc....check out my channel and videos!

  • you really should have just made a hardcore song with those tweaked sounds :)

  • heh i have the same ipod

  • what a shit!!!!!

  • You're almost as good as souljah boy!

  • sorry, but htis sounds terrible!

  • chill the f/// out!!!!

  • LooooooooooL !!!!

WTF? Dude's using it as a type writer!!

Title should be amended to How not to play with the ESX.

    Why would you upload that?

  • man, this is shit... you need a roland handsonic hpd15,,,

  • Wow, that was not so good! I don't understand why you would post this?

  • A brave attempt!

  • dude u suck

  • out of time badly

  • Are these keyboard patches built in or do they have to be loaded in

  • hey man. i wana get one of these, how do u run samples through it? or are u using the samples it comes with? it seems like this thing makes buying samples obsolete haha. I have a mini moog, ableton and a butt load of samples, would you recommend buyin one of these too? like for drums maybe? its got dirty synth in there too rite?

  • 3rd gen 20gb

  • Good video. Not enough videos around demoing stuff like this. It's not perfect like you say (isnt that what quantise is for? :) but it gave me a good idea what you can do. Cheers

  • Yeah quentise rounds it off the nearest beat(/1/16, 1/8 etc)

  • sweet so you can play the drums or synth parts just like a keyboard? cuz I'm all about playing instead of programming

  • i hate programming drum beats and sequences. So time consuming if you want it good

  • Good brekfast!

  • As far as sound design and sound manipulation goes, this thing kills the MPC.

You can also record all of your knob tweaks and button pushes in the ESX's sequencer...in real time or step mode.

Not to mention the amazing arpeggiator and the fat little built in synths.

    Yup this kills an MPC!

  • Whats the difference between this and the EMX-1?

  • this is a sampler ... you can load your samples on it and you have not this many effects on it ..

on the emx are already drumsounds, synthstuff ...and you have more possibilities to modify them ..that you can make every sound you want =)

don't think its easy to handle! i loved my emx until i read the manual :D

  • Actually the ESX has all the effects that the EMX has. Except for the "drive" knob on the EMX. Also on the ESX you can synthesize the drums, and each drum part has its own dedicated filters. The emx does not have this, instead you have to assign the filters to the drum parts from the effects section.....Their are workarounds though!

  • you can turn off auto updating and anyone that says you cant is wrong.

  • is this actually any good compared to the MPC's?

  • i don't think so, pads are not that quality

  • BAD

  • clever video, and very nice framing of the shot ;-)

  • =)))

  • I already own a MicroKORG and I use FL Studio/Ableton Live w/ VST's, I am interested in making DarkElectro, Industrial, Gothicwave and Terror-EBM, is this piece of gear fit for that??

Because I really liked the beats from around 1:40!!!!:P

  • probably get a similar EMX instead, for the styles you listed? (unless you really like samples)

  • kickass iPod dude

  • thats a big ipod!

  • no brutha if it was an "IPOD"

it is missing alot of Bad programing and gayness that come included with the ipod firmwares

(I HATE I PODS AND I THINK THAT A GUY BEHIND A PC MODING A IPOD CAN DO MUCH BETTER THAN THE REAL "GENIUS"WHO MADE THE GAY FIRMWARE THAT ERASES IT SELF TO ADD MORE SONGS!)

well thats not the topic is it?

    i guess not KOOL VID-song

  • haha you're a complete idiot.

You can turn auto-updating of songs off on the ipod when you connect it to itunes.

  • OH YEA..... let's see....

then... all of the ipod owners that have told me that (5 of em)

Said the same shit.... then you are one of those idiots who owns one

(and now... they updated the shit they made wrong atlast!!!!!!! miracle!!!!)

those apple bitting Retards over at apple i hate em

  • 'yeah' has a h on the end.

and you also dont need that many exclamation marks, we can't hear you shouting, one will do :)

    you're hilarious, and wrong :)

  • (yeah)i know.. (!!!!!)i do and i'm not shouting

    and (Wrong)no i'm right....

  • honesty the worst reply to a comment i have ever read. shame on you.

  • That a boy! you tell'em !

  • that is not ipod this is groove box

  • SWEET IPOD

  • thats the worst tutorial video i've ever seen, not to mention the music was horrible.

  • How do you record/ play back the beats you create on your mac/pc?

I have a macbook and I'm looking to get into this scene so i can try my hand at DnB/chipbreak music. I'd like to be able to hook up the Korg to the macbook so I can save/import my songs and save them as mp3s and such to work with in grage band and so on. Is any of that possible? If not, what should I do?

  • go with the esx... and sample sample sample! =)

  • can i use this machine for beats with korg r3

  • what kind of Ipod is that with buttons at top?

  • it's a 2nd generation ipod quite old :)

  • Elec SX Dosnt a drum machine estupido

  • thank u so much for this video now i want this machine even more

  • Is your i-pod connected to the ESX or playing through speakers?

  • iPod is connected to the ESX.

but in this stuff, ESX doesn't affect iPod's sound because AudioInTHRU is on.

i played with the ESX as a effector that affects DS-10 sound in following stuff.

    v=G5xMv2-ckdU

in this stuff, AudioInTHRU is off and DS-10 sound is AudioIn part.

then we can play effected sound!!XD

  • so you can just straight away conenct your ipod (or any other sound source...radio...tv...and even a synth) and start messing around?

  • yes that's right XD

  • This really gets us EMX users a chance to see what the ESX can do! Epic man :]

  • very creative, only a few mistakes
