How are you detonating the mines without selecting the watch? Is this an emulatator or N64? My N64 takes seconds to switch weapons; it is MUCH slower to change them than in your video.
This was always my favorite level in the game. Using it for multiplayer was great too. And yes, the only way to really get the cheat is to have Doak be right where you want him to be.
i just beated this level just moments ago but I got to beat at 2 min 4 sec 99 m.s I was so close to not get it. my cousin timed me exactly how much I would do but omg Im so lucky to have that cheat now
nice vid. Instead of the first mine you used where you did, I'd throw one behind the small wall under the stairs at 0:50, it'd get rid of some of the guards above who were always a pest to me, and hope Dr. Doak was up there, lol.

@revokdaryl1 did the same time myself earlier today, 5 seconds under the limit - about 9 years on and off trying and i finally got it haha.
this is an insane video - some of the WR times are ridiculously fast, but this is still an attempt to play the level, not just running past every guard etc. to get through to the lab area without losing any health is amazing - 5 stars!
@popnfresh2888 Ha mate, been using them all that time! What I used to worry about too much was taking on all the guards instead of just running past them!
@999alex9991 I'm not saying he just spawns anywhere on the entire map. Yes three basic locations, in the rooms on the left or right of the hallway with the three guards or the two labs. But in those general locations he has like 7-9 spawn points. It's rare he's in the exact spot you want-need him to be and annoying how many times he is just not in the lab at all.
I did get this cheat before...Dr. Doak is placed at random, so you have to have him at the right spot. Took me a lot of tries. What also helped was placing the mines on the floor so you can blow up 4 at a time. Good job!
