@10CMilesS Yes, most of the occasional ones, like Colonel Hall and Mrs Richards. These people had illustrious acting careers, but their finest hour was in FT, as confirmed whenever the BBC announced their death: "...but they will probably be best remembered for their appearance in Fawlty Towers" - every one of them! I can just imagine John and Connie thinking about who to cast "Who was that pompous officer that was in Room At The Top? Let's get him to play Colonel Hall!"
