I'm an Atheist, but I know some decent Xtians. He isn't one of them. His fraudulent ways have been proven.

It makes more sense to suggest that he took down his YT page and official site in an effort to cover up his tracks. To me, it's obstruction of justice. Time will tell.

He may have figured out that it's easier to scam when there isn't a paper trail, or digital trail in this case.

I don't think there is anything wrong with assuming they are real. Since we don't have definite information, we can only assume, and state what the implications of each assumption would be. GoGreen merely made an assumption that VFX's story is true, and if she is correct, then what she says is also correct - but this also isn't to say that the "VFX scamming" theory is incorrect.

I think she would agree that either way its an assumption, so we can only make contingent claims as to VFX's motives.

IMOHO ... I think the death threats thing was a fabrication, he made it up to justify suddenly running away over the legal issues. Look at his ego, had anyone threatened him, he'd delete the message and respond by sending them video links, secure his lord would protect him. For him to fear a threat means he had no faith. Does that sound like Shawn? Lying, making up fancy tales, arrogance = that's Shawn.

As it turns out, that may not be him after all.

I was pretty sure that it was, but since then, I was able to track down every element of that mirror site independently. The quality of the videos suggest that they are not the originals, which Shawn would have, and the background image on Shawn's original channel was animated. The one being used on VenomFangX1 is a JPEG which can be obtained with Google's cache feature.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if it was him, but I'm starting to doubt it.
