I used to sit right next to him at our "day job" in about 1997. I knew he sang then but I had no idea he had such great talent...He was a fun guy to work with and I was just shocked when I learned he died.

He died in a motorcycle accident in 1999. He made this album in 1987 or so, Not shortly after recording this.

Remember seeing him back in the day on soul train, was transfixed to the screen jaw to the floor. What a sad loss but never forgotten.
