As a former soldier I find the funniest thing the left says about the possibility of civil war is that the military will be 100% on their side because they control the government. No shit. They actually say and believe that shit. The idea that the military would be split along ideological lines in the event of civil war simply never occurs to them despite the fact that they have already basically called the military terrorists.

The left turns their back on the military but always assume the military to be behind them.. The refuse to send support to our troops in a deteriorating situation in Afgan.. They discredit our military's ability to win in the middle east.. regardless if our reasons to be there are just or not.. Every Republican I know stands behind the troops 100%.. and nearly all of us have guns.. the left wants to outlaw guns.. We are willing to fight for our freedom when and if the time comes.

I would certainly hope so, but I will believe it when I see it. Personally, I do not see it (yet). There are still too many signs that the party still does not truly "get it" and will only flop back again if put back in power, and still supports some policies I find are a part of the problem.
