  • i am thinking about buying some afr heads for my 400 small block can you tell me what you think is good about afr vs other companys

  • do you have to supercharge in order to have the blower cause im trying to fix my truck up and i really dont want to supercharge it

  • @mamasboy2006 the supercharger is the blower, they just call it a blower cuz it blows air into the motor

  • Nice car! I have an almost stock 1971 camaro. it is orange with white rally stripes. the motor has been bored out from a 357 to a 454 and i've added a racing cam. It looks brand new.

  • where can i find a blower like that? ive been looking for one for a long time

  • I know the guy that has this car now. This thing is insane.

  • Thanks

  • JW when u have a sucpercharger set up like yours do you need a blow through carb like with a pro charger?

  • @TommyTransam no cause the carb isnt receiving boost like with a pro charger the carb on a pro charger receives the air under boost hence the name for a blow through. a roots style blower the carb sits on top and isnt under pressure so you can use a regular carb. my edelbrock e force im buying comes with a thunder series avs 800cfm carb witch is the same one the recommend using with there intake manifolds

  • Im going to ask santa if he could wedge a weiand blower under the tree for my IROC! the ghost flames look awesome

  • seriously u only want 12 grand!!!!

  • haha awesome car man. was just randomly looking around for cars and this one popped up so i saw the link. id trade ya a 67 mustang in good condition haha just kidding, lucky guy will get this car though and its sick you play guitar too, what model ibanez was that?

  • you mad max!

serious, nice car mate. You just made me jealous. ;)

  • Just........AWESOME!!!

  • AWESOME !!!!

  • geile karre alder

  • mmmmmmmm

  • hello i just got a 1987 iroc z28 camaro with LT1 CORVETTE ENGINE i wanted to know how much dose the blower help her. i dont know to much about cars but i love this thing and i want it to be my life hobby and make it into a dig car not to win races just for me pritty much u have a ny hints please?

  • Very cool! I've got a '78 El Camino 350 and I'm looking into blower kits for it. How much boost are you running with the 6-71, and what's your static compression? Does it run on pump gas? I'm looking into a Weiand 250 blower. Have you heard anything about those? I want to make about 500 street-able horsepower safely on pump gas.

  • most 671 and larger blowers cant run on pump gas.

  • how much it cost to do that?

  • Too much!

  • i feel ya on that, but in the end its worth it. bad azz car tho man....

  • @Praetorian27 lmao

  • killer ride man. yhanks for posting. was trying to find vid with a 6 or 8 71 weiand onstalled that showed view from drivers viewpoint. looks awesome. im probably gonna go for a smaller weiand instead. gotta have mine under some kind of hood. too much attention. awesome though.

  • I have a weiand 142 blower on my el camino which is also a .30 over 350. My budget is definately inferior to your friend's.

  • I have a weiand 142 b

  • 5 miles per galon O.o oh good lord!

  • what is the fuel consumption of that car???

  • lol...about 5 miles per gallon if you are on it hard!

  • 5MPG??? My 18-wheeler gets 5.2 pulling 46,000lbs of cargo down the highway.....

    Badass car, dude!!!!

  • hey nice camaro man wat year is it and do u have hollys or demons on it and how do they run

  • Holly 600's

  • so how do they run im thinking of puttin a blower on my truck and i can't decide wat kinda carbs to put on it

  • For a street car, they are great. If it was mainly a race can, I would go with some bigger carbs.

  • ok thanks man have you ever run demons

  • how much are these?

  • Nice job, this is pretty much my dream car. Ill get it some day

  • that

    is

    AMAZING!!!

I love it, im rebuilding a '77 Malibu Classic and I'm kinda leaning toward a blower vs a turbo. Not sure what yet.

  • woah

i was expecting to you turn the key, and hear a shrill buzzer, but didnt.

  • what part of ny u live in?

  • WOW very nice!!! you don't see 80s camaros with blowers on them so that makes this one very unique! I LOVE IT!

  • thats a beaut, time to race!

  • man thats awesome, thats why im going to build me one...take care of her...

  • ahhh yes, the "view from the drivers seat" not something im too familiar with, thanks, beautiful car, take care of her

  • nice camaro. was wondering, did you buy it like that or did you build it yourself?

  • I bought it mostly as you see it. Found someone who ran out of money so I picked up the project where he left off. I have since beefed up the chassis and put a new Moser 9" rear end in it. The engine is coming out soon to fix an oil leak.

  • cool, i just finished restoring my 75 Monza last fall; i originally bought it from a guy who's wife made him sell it; it was still 4 lug, pretty much stock, and gray primer, but had a built v8 ready to roll! except it had no brakes--- made for a fun ride home!

but hey back to your camaro, sounds like a pretty bad oil leak--- hope you get her done by spring. good luck and keep it on the ground!

  • It isn't too bad...but I want to get the engine out and do it right. I have never taken the heads off the thing yet, so I want to see the guts of this thing first hand! Have any videos of your Monza?

  • sorry meant motor not blower !

  • hi what compression is the blower and what boost you running? also do you have any retard modules etc to avoid detonation?

i love the whine of a blower.

  • very clean fucking car man! that thing is sweet you have got to respect any clean black third gen especially a supercharged one!!!

  • that man has more money than god

  • that thing must eat ricers for breakfast, wow

  • i would love to have a engine like that....but i dont have the money..nice car

  • Turbocharging is for boys, real men drives a blowerengine.

  • i wanna DRIVE IT!

  • are blowers like superchargers

  • "Blower" is the nickname for a supercharger

  • thanks for telling me by the way nice camaro

  • SHE SOUNDS SOOO GOOD!!!!! DAMN GOOD!

  • What did that all cost u

  • I have a roots blower on my ATV, starting in the cold was a problem so I put a primer on there. Let's me dump a bit of raw fuel down into the manifold. Starts right up.

  • well yeah you have like 20 extra HP in the LS1, but adding and air intake and other little things you can get thosse 20 hp, i like better the sound of an LT1...........type LS1 vs LT1 on yahoo search and you can get some ideas...good luck

  • didnt he say 99 or 87? not 99 or 97

  • Actulally now I have three cars on my mind, 1997 SS anniversary edition, 1999 z28, or 1987 with installing a 350 big block. I am literally killing myself trying to make the decision with only 10 grand on my hands.

  • I own a 99 Z and i love it...but if u can find a 97 SS true anniv. package with the lt4 (only 106 made) i would buy that. but it will be hard finding one of those...if not that i would buy the ls1. my 99 Z28 was 7200 and i bought it in feb. so you will have money left over for mods. my car ran 13.7 @ 103 and i only have catback

  • Actually, it is 10 grand Canadian, so around 8000k American. But thanks, i never knew 97 30th anniversary edition has a different engine.

  • I researched a little, Getting an LT4 1997 Anniversary edition will be impossible to find, or too expensive

  • really! I like the sound of LS1 better. i dunno maybe my friends LT1 with SLP exhaust sounded like a DIRTY muscle car.

  • Can anyone help me? I have ten grand on my hand and I'm deciding whether to buy 1999 z28, or 1987 z28 and rebuild the engine with a 350 small block, however I am a noob at this.

  • go for the 1997 unless you like better the 99 shape... you can do more things on the LT1 ,, the 1999 is an LS1

  • It's not about the body, it's just that the engine is a newer design- LS1 has more stock power than LT1

Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, the car would be older, and I need a newer car, with less milege.

    Thanks

  • Sweet ass CZ28 man!!! Chevy for life!!!

  • bad assssed ride

  • Love the Video, thanks so much for sharing! It has been a dream of mine to have a motor like that one. How much would a motor like that run? Just the motor..... Thanks for you video again!!!

  • About $12,000 if you buy all the parts seperately...cheaper if you get package deals and build it yourself!

  • Oh FuCk Yea It'S a CaMaRo MaN!!!!!!!! =]

  • Hot! Gotta love that blower,Im gonna jump from mini-blower to 6-71,can't wait to feel that power increase! Awsome camaro, couldn't have done it any better IMHO.

  • Thanks man! Make sure you put up some videos of your car with the new power adder!!

  • lol, my neighbors would hate you so bad. They hate me and my truck isn't half as loud as that. Normaly aspirated, headers, delta 40 x pipe exaust.

  • ohh man, this is the american muscle, beautiful car

  • Wow! that car is sick! what's its best time?

    have u raced it?

  • I think ive cum my pants

  • that car is awesome!

  • Love the flames

  • I just brought a Holden Kingswood- Muscle car looking shape[to make up for when people call me a ricer]

Can you get blowers you can turn on and off so i can still afford to run it?

  • Only in Mad Max! If you turned it on and off, the fuel mixture would be WAY off. Also, there would be no way for the air to get down into the carbs without the blower turning. There are a bunch of guys who build Mad Max replicas, that have a fake blower mounted on setup with an electric motor that they can turn on and off...but it is just for show.

  • i always wondered about that. How come some weind blowers have a louder whine than others? Do people just have the belt too tight or what? Anyway. bad ass ride. im on my second 3rg gen

  • Blowers themselves make little if any noise, the belt riding on the idler pulley is where the noise comes from.

  • You can accualy buy "noisy" or "quiet" blowers, alot of the sound has to do with what material the gears inside are made of, as well as how their cut.

  • dude that is awesome!

  • that car is serious. love the paint job, love the blower.

  • whats the blowers numbrer?

  • It is a Weiand 6-71 with dual Holley 600's. It is currently 13% underdriven.

  • When I installed my blower I was told not to go any farther than 6% underdriven. The reason was that the blower could not meet the demands of the engine AT IDLE.

  • 'Mad Max' jumps to mind. "It's the last of the V8's!" sick ride, my friend. my car's garaged until nice weather, too. i feel your pain!

  • dam, i wish i had a car like that

    thats a classic

    sweet car man

  • Nice damn car. I wish I had money to do that to my '86.

  • Nice Camaro, wish I could have done the same to my 83 Z28.

  • Nice I love it, I had a 69 with the same setup minus the supercharger. It was a 327 vette small block, when it was done it was pushin more than 650 HP. It was my old mans block he origanally built it 20 years ago for his 75 Yellow Camaro but the brake pin fell out and he wrecked it. Luckilly the motor wasnt damaged. Even though I dont understand how.. I would like too see more on this car and I love the flames!!

  • Thanks! I plan to get some good "outside" videos once the weather warms up again! Did you sell the 69?

  • Nice. I thought my walk around video of my old 82 Z28 was cool, but you blew me outta the water!

Did you do all the work yourself?

  • Thats one sweet car dude! I wish i had that kind of money to throw into my 83 camaro. Thats one of the nicest 80's camaro's i've seen.

  • Thanks man!

  • I live in Sarnia, Ontario. There just isn't any real powerful cars around here, like sure theres a few, but not very many people to go cruising with.

  • It would be cool to see that on the road. Very nice.

  • thats an awsome setup, these are the kind of cars i like seeing on the road, too bad theres only a few in my area.

  • Thanks bro! Where do you live?

  • sounds badass man, lets see a burnout or a wheelie or something

  • lol...I know, I wish I could! This was a last minute video now that it's away for the winter!
