Hey! A good song is a good song, Music is meant to be personalized not copied over and over like a rubber stamp.. An artist should make it theirs when they perform it. I love Eric Clapton's way too, but I also like the treatment Michael gives it. He does it his way. I'll bet Clapton likes it too. Go Michael !

Eric Clapton's version is the best. I feel like Michael Buble's style and personality contradicts this song too much. Eric Clapton is a really modest, quiet guy, and the whole point of the song is that he feel so inferior to his woman, but wants her to "realize" how much he loves her.

Don't get me wrong, I love Michael, but he's just too sexy and smooth to pull this song off. It might sound weird, but that's how I feel. Please, tell me what you think! :)

the portyguese part was amazing, maybe the best part of the song. Ivan Lins is a great singer. He brought the Brazilian jazz into this song... like stang getz did in the girl from ipanema featurin frank sinatra. Great song in general

The Portuguese part was sung by Ivan Lins, a Brazilian artist. It may not have added anything to the song, but I'm sure Ivan's fans think the same about the english parts.

@joshman1019: I agree with you. The Portuguese lyrics add to the Brazilian bossanova arrangement of this song, they add to the overall flavour of the music. I really like Ivan Lins, he's a prolific songwriter who's written some lovely songs. I guess it depends if you love music for it's own sake or if you love only Michael Buble when you decide what he adds to the recording.
