The car produced 454 hp @ the wheels on the dynojet dyno at TopSpeed of Atlanta Ga. 570 crank HP is an educated guess based on the well known average of 20% power loss from crank to wheels in AWD cars. Topspeed has tuned over 1000 subarus, some of them very famous. They will tell you 20% is pretty dead on.

20% may be dead on for a Dynojet, but Dynojets notoriously read higher than any other dyno. Depending on the dyno, you may see up to and maybe even exceeding 30% losses. Differentials are very parasitic, and with the AWD setup, the power must go through the gearset, then one or two differentials before it sees the ground.

The Exact HP lose increases as the overall HP Increase. Example of that is 400hp minus 20% is 80 HP lose. FYI, All wheel Drive cars drivetrain lose is allways higher than FWD or RWD because power is distributed through 4 wheels and not just 2.

I get 27 mpg on the hyw with 850 cc injectors and a 255 walbro fuel pump. I don't no how but I do. If I get in the turbo even the least bit it goes down to about 15 mpg. I wouldn't expect much better from a stock sti. It does require 93 oct.

wow. that STI is absolutely sick. kit is legit and the power mods to back are legit. Only downfalls are it needs better rims to pull it off, and just fail at the lambo doors. they are indeed rice, although not half bad on your car, but still scream tacky/lame. they are so played out even some lambos themselves don't have then anymore. that says alot. Also, disappointing and pretty lame that you simply BOUGHT the car like that with all that done, no effort on your part.
