it was originally intended by Larson to be used in a one man show called Suburbia but was adapted into Tick Tick Boom after his death from what i know, but this could be incorrect...

It is from 30/90, which was originally in BoHo Days (Same as this song), which was then adapted into Tick Tick Boom, which is about the week leading upto Jonathan's 30th Birthday and the workshop for the first musical he wrote (before Boho days and Rent) which is called Superbia!

Jonathan was such a talented person. What has always made me so sad was how hard he worked...and worked and worked...for years in NY trying to break through. Slaving at that crappy diner to scratch by. Performing also as we see him here..brilliantly..to scant crowds. Johnathan Larson died of an Aortic Aneurysm. the two are similar but not the same a heart attack is caused by a build up of plaque in the arteries, an aneurysm is caused by weakening of the artery wall itself.
