One thing that struck me about Morley, when I was there in 1980-81 was there were no older men around, plenty of women my grandmothers age 80 + but no men of that age,it just struck me
wtf is this? fuckn scumbags didnt wna celebrate st georges day before why suddenly now? fuckn scum get the fuck out of country (islamic republic of britain? fuckn bastards fuck off, st george came frm turkey neway lol britain belongs to the muslims soon we will take it back
ps i pimp white british girls in birmingham hehehe
St George was a Christian and European, back then all of Turkey was European, that was before the middle east Muslims had taken a hold.Even now when you go to Turkey you can see the difference in the colour of the people in the north and south. We celebrate his life for all the work he done for christians,he was a true martyr.
St George was around 400 years before Islam was invented and Islam was created 700 years after christianity was born.Muslims worship our god but don't like our equal rights
St George was not English nor was he White? His dad was born in Turkey and his mum born in Palestine (meaning he was NOT English)! he was a Roman Christian soldier who did not serve in England... So why are white racist celebrating him (a foreigner)? St George is also the patron saint of Malta, Palestine, Georgia, Moscow, Portugal, Greece to name but a few.
So should Palestine, Georgia, Moscow, Portugal, Greece and Malta - to name a few - not celebrate their patron saint because he is also the patron saint of England??
It's about time more Englishmen (and women) celebrated 23rd April.
That's not a racist comment, its a loyal English opinion, embracing the country I/we were born in.
And theres no harm in that.
We are Anglo Saxon denominants... but its not where you're from.... its where you're at.
We are desendant from the romans....so therefor we can celebrate St George. Just because you celebrate your country doesn't make you a racist. Lets not forget that the likes of the BNP don't organise this...they simply hyjack the idea in order to put accross their racist views.
Fucking queer

The parade has nothing to do with the BNP. It was not organised by the BNP, but by the Royal Society of St Geroge in Leeds.
This is a great parade - long may it continue!

What a fantastic parade!
I love the costumes & the fact that the people made the effort to re-enact how their ancestors originally walked those streets hundreds of years ago.
It's how we originated - we need to keep teaching our children our history so they know who they are & how their ancestors lived.

Stop trying to hijack St George and St Georges day for your own political needs.
This has nothing to do with you. If you like it fine, but why bring your party into it.
Its a lovely town and a lovely parade. A a-political parade. Its a pity people like you try to politicise everything.

Another one trying to politicise this lovely parade.
You and your ilk has done more to demonise st georges day than anyone. You stole the flag and its symbolism, now you want to steal the parade.
