Having only been a COD weenie most of my life (Tried the original Battlefield 2, didn't like it) I must say, this game looks to beat the pants off MW3. Story seems better and holy crap, this sequence rocks!
Yes, it is a little annoying there is little realism (if you are dog-fighting and can SEE the enemy, someone has really screwed up! Ships would never be that close...esp when launching TLAMs with air-ops!) But, cinematically: Awesome.

My friend, there is not an educated military officer in the world, in any army, that would believe a statement like this. It's almost too laughable to respond to. You can't possibly believe yourself that Iran would walk away the winner from a conventional war with the United States. There's not even the slightest reason to believe this. Your military just doesn't have the hardware, or, more importantly, efficient and properly trained soldiers. It would be a bloodbath.
Now, if the US had to occupy Iran..that would be different. I'm sure countless IEDs and suicide bombers could be produced..many more than we've had to deal with in Iraq. It would be very, very costly (but possible). For these reasons, I really don't see America ever attempting an occupation.
However, again, a conventional conflict (i.e. tank vs tank, soldier vs soldier) would end with the Iranian military shattered..
I swear to god Dice makes the audio and chatter so awesome in BF3. While not 100% accurate of course, they still get way closer to reality than any other game. The graphics, well, that speaks for itself.
