It's shame about him with the injuries. For a 4 or 5 years when he was healthy you could've made the case that he was the best player in the League. I remember watching the game i think it was in '02 when he scored 62...when he was healthy he was a great scorer, it's just too bad...same thing happened to Penny Hardaway and Grant Hill

man he's career reminds me of penny hardaway. During their respective prime, both of them were athlethic and a very all-around player. Like Penny was the best player next to jordan during their prime and T-mac next to kobe (forget lebron).

Injury stays in mind. he wont dive for the ball, cause he will remember his shoulder injury. he wont be same as he was before injury. He mite still play, but he will be just an average SG. not the same Tmac as we had before :(:(

He could redeem himself if he jst accepts to be a star of the bench for a team. Like LA. Instead of hoping to pass the 2nd round of the playoffs with him in the starting line up. Im a huge Tmac fan and Lakers and its rly sad to see players like Tmac and A.I slow down and start losing momentum. Those guys wer the best NBA had. Hope he ends up in a team thats worth playing for

I cannot stand it when people who have never experienced what it's really like to be in such a situation..man GOD can do all things, so to say t mac will never be the player he was is agreeable (from the human standpoint), but in GODs' view,he can recover just like that..that's why GOD sent Arnie Kander (Detroit pistons strenght and conditioning coach,as a matter of fact,since Mcgrady has been under Kanders' care,he has a 96% healthy back,and a 90% healthy knee! that's right, he's back!
