Surprise, surprise -- the bible is contradictory!! About many things. That is why we have so many denominations, so many theological arguments. And some people call it the 'inerrant word of God."
@jeffrey0662 ::: The reason there are interpretation problems is because the teachings, the meanings, are not clear. The weight of differing teachings is judged differently by different scholars, or founders of different denominations. Sabbath, or Lord's Day? Salvation by faith only, or with faith and works, or add baptism to the mix? Rapture? pre, post or mid millenium? Or just the 2nd coming? Was Jesus born during the reign of Herod, or when Quirinius was governor?
@k0smon The Bible is clear about the meaning of its major tenets.
Jesus was born during the reign of Herod during the first census when Quirinius was governer of Syria Luke 2:2 (NLT) (This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) This language presupposes a second census and term was subsequent.
@jeffrey0662 :::Scholars say that Herod was no longer king when Quirinius was Governor. They were not contemporaries. Does this mean Jesus was born twice?
@k0smon It means your scholars are ignoring the facts. Other scholars say stone inscriptions found show Quirinius governed twice, just like Luke says.
"... John is the only gospel in which Jesus is explicitly identified as divine." "John's gospel is the only one with this exalted view of Christ." "... the assumption that Jesus had called himself God. I had long ago come to believe that he had not" "... if Jesus claimed he was divine, it seemed very strange indeed that Matthew, Mark, and Luke all failed to say anything about it." Bart Ehrman, "Jesus, Interrupted", Chapter five.
@k0smon It is not true that John is the only Gospel where Jesus explicitly identified his Divinity. Here is one example from Matt and the high priest understood that Jesus claimed Divinity by accusing Jesus of blasphemy and deserving death: Matthew 26:64-66 (NLT) ...cont'd
@k0smon cont'd... Jesus replied, "Yes, it is as you say. And in the future you will see me, the Son of Man, sitting at God's right hand in the place of power and coming back on the clouds of heaven." [65] Then the high priest tore his clothing to show his horror, shouting, "Blasphemy! Why do we need other witnesses? You have all heard his blasphemy. [66] What is your verdict?" "Guilty!" they shouted. "He must die!"
@jeffrey0662 ::: (NRSV) "Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the SON OF MAN seated at the right hand of Power and coming in the clouds of heaven."
Jesus separates himself from the 'Power' by saying he is at the 'right hand' of It. And calls himself son of man, not son of God and certainly not God the Son. It is the high priest's judgement that he has 'blasphemed', not Jesus' words claiming to be God.
@k0smon Yes, Jesus is separate because God is three separate persons. God the Son is human (the son of man). Ps 110:1 describes divinity and the high priest understood that. The Di Rossi manuscript for Ps 110:1 reads "Jehovah said unto Jehovah". The Septuagint (LXX) reads Ps 110:3 as "I have begotten you from before the morning". That shows the one on the right is eternally beggoten, pre-existing, as John 1:14 shows.
@jeffrey0662 ::: The doctrine of the trinity is a mystery and cannot be understood by the mind of man, because 1+1+1=1 does not make sense. The compound God, 3 yet 1. Or is it 2, Jehovah and Jesus with the Holy Spirit just another name for the power of God? Or is Jesus the name of both creator and his physical representation?
At best, we can only have an idea of God. To propound a trinity only makes it more difficult and confusing. Perhaps Micah 6:8 says it all.
@k0smon Does 1+1=1 of Gen 2:24 not make sense you either? It's the same Hebrew word for a compound unity of "one" as in Deut. 6:4. Breaking the First Commandment by consciously renouncing the Trinity is not following Micah 6:8.
@k0smon A husband and wife are two separate people, God is three separate persons. The same God of Micah 6:8. Any other God than the Trinitarian God is not the God of Micah 6:8.
@k0smon You need to submit your reasoning to God's revelation in the Bible. For example, there are two Jehovahs shown here, one in the sky and the other a man who met face to face with Abraham and ate food in the Gen ch 18-19: 24 "Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven;" Gen 19:24 ASV
@mysteryperson1976 Your universalism is causing you to act illiterate. The word "specially" or "particularly" in other translations means that he is the Savior of all men singled out by their belief in Him.
@jeffrey0662 I looked at that verse from different translations and only one of them said something other than things like "especially" or "particularly."
@mysteryperson1976 We must read things in their context always. In light of other Scripture regarding the same topic, it is clear that ONLY those who believe on the Lord Jesus will be saved. He died for the whole world, yes, but those who do not accept this truth and recieve the free gift of salvation will not be saved. They have chosen Adam as their head over Jesus the righteous.
Sheesh. I was hoping for a golden nugget that might convert me. This is as foolish and deceitful as the whole Trinity doctrine is. WIDE is the road that leads to DESTRUCTION. Biblical unitarians have the right Jesus and despite our small numbers we have consistent Christology and haven't given into myths. Complexity is a sure way to detect traditions of men that developed over time.
@jeffrey0662 There are only some tricky passages, but we can explain them in a historical, contextual, grammatical way rather than telling people Jesus has two centers of consciousness like that cartoon Yugioh. It's not God the Son in the Son of God; it's God the Father. Jesus is his own God. A necessity you MUST make if you are a Trinitarian or else you have more than one god.
@TruthAtlas You are mischaracterizing the Trinity. The Trinity never teaches that Jesus has two centers of consciousness and that Jesus is his own God. The Trinity is not more than one God but the one God is more than one person.
@jeffrey0662 It MUST teach he has two centers of consciousness yet claim he is still somehow one person... unless you believe in a type of kenosis where he emptied himself of knowing everything. You ABSOLUTELY MUST say Jesus is his own God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all "one God." The Son (Jesus) is the same god as the Father and Holy Spirit. We know that the lord has a God. We know Trinitarians claim he is God and that there is only one God. Thus, Jesus is the same God as his God.
@TruthAtlas You are describing Modalism, not Trinitarianism, erecting it as a strawman and then knocking it down. You are presupposing that God is only one person.
@jeffrey0662 First of all, 1 Cor 8:6 destroys your religion because God made Jesus lord. It has nothing to do with the Shema. He's talking about false deities and lords. Not false YHWH's. I'm not describing modal-ism. You believe the Father is the God of Jesus.
You believe the Jesus is God.
You believe there is only one God.
You believe Jesus is the same God as the Father
You believe Jesus is the same God as his God.
You believe Jesus is his own God. Granted, not the same person.
@TruthAtlas The Shema is the Jews monotheistic pledge against polythiesm. Paul was most definetly including Jesus in the Shema to combat the Corinthians idolatry addressed in the immeadiate context.
@TruthAtlas //1 Cor 8:6 destroys your religion because God made Jesus lord. //
Acts 2:36 is an allusion to Ps 110:1 which Heb 1:3 (also alluding to Ps 110:1) tells us Jesus is an "exact representation of his [God's] being" NIV. So, God making Jesus Lord supports my religion sir.
@jeffrey0662 The Father called an old testament king "God" and the writer of Hebrews rightly applied it to Jesus. You need to understand Jewish Christianity of the first century. Many people are called God, but it's understood they aren't God! The King of Israel is called God because he represents God. Jesus is the King of Israel. The Roman emperor was called God by people in that culture. The title God is an honorary sense of royalty. It doesn't always have to do with the one true Father God.
@TruthAtlas The Father didn't call Jesus just any god but the Lord God YHWH of Ps 102:5: Heb 1:10" And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of thy hands:" That is a title never given to anyone but the Lord God Jehovah Himself.
@jeffrey0662 I choose terms such as "the Father alone is God" and "Jesus is purely human" because they accurately describe what I believe and can not be misunderstood. Purely means only, merely, simply, just, and solely. You can't be only human AND only God. You've lost your capacity to reasonably interpret the Scriptures or anything someone says that disagrees with what you believe. You twisted those words to make it so I can't define what I believe in positive terms.
@TruthAtlas Youare elevating rationalism over revelation and calling it "interpreting". Instead, you should accept what is written abiout Jesus' Deity and let it harmonize with the data that speaks of Jesus' humanity.
@jeffrey0662 No I'm not "rationalizing." You're just being disobedient to the Scriptures which say God is the Father of Jesus. Jesus has a God - how twisted this Trinity doctrine is! There is nothing written about Jesus' deity. He is purely human or else no one can be saved. You have no excuse for interpreting Hebrews 1:10 that way. It's talking about the Father. Look up thw correct interpretation for it if you want to live forever. "YHWH said to my lord." He was "made" lord that prophesied lord
@jeffrey0662 The trinity is not a legitimate explanation of that verse. Jesus is called God, but it doesn't mean he is God. Once you accept that the Bible will make sense. Is everyone that is called God in the Bible God?
This video is the one of the most awful videos I have seen about a Trinitarian trying to prove the Trinity doctrine. One would have thought that this author had discovered the long awaited hidden verse of scriptures that clearly say that the one God is three persons contrary to 1 cor 8:6 which clearly states that he is one person-THE FATHER. Okay quoting a bunch of "I am he"s form the Old Testament and showing Jesus saying "I am he" in the NT proves the Trinity? Yawn!!!!
@ojaymon 1 Cor 8:6 says the one Lord of the Shema of Duet 6:4 is the one God the Father and one Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus applied the YHWH term to himself and his audience understood it that way and tried to kill him for it. This proves that Jesus was equating himself with God. That's the Trinity. BTW, there are no verses in Scripture that says God is only one person.
@jeffrey0662 The simple question is: When Paul declared that we have one God in 1 cor 8:6 and went on to then tell us who the one God is, how many persons did he mention to be the one God in that verse? :) Just a simple question. Please I would appreciate it if you can answer this question clearly and simply without dancing around it.. 1 cor 8:6 is an explicit verse that settles the controversy. Secondly, you are imposing a twinitarian conjecture on 1 cor 8:6 which still does not show a Trinity
@ojaymon Sure Paul mentions God once in reference to the Father in 1 Cor 8:6 alluding to the Shema of Deut 6:4, but he also mentions Jesus as the one Lord/YHWH in the Shema of Deut 6:4.
@jeffrey0662 Secondly, Jesus never equated himself with God the Father. All Trinitarians do is draw their conjectural conclusions from implicit verses that are controversial in interpretation while completely negating what the explicit verses say themselves that clearly confute their ideas. Jesus made it clear John 14:28¶ Ye have heard... I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
These are the direct words of Jesus himself. No need to create much Trinitarian gymnastics round it.
If you claim that there is 1 YHWH, you then contradict yourself that there are 2 YHWHs. You say the Father is YHWH & Jesus is YHWH, that makes 2. Obviously! You are not speaking a language that has any recognizable content. A suggestion: examine the first and therefore decisive use of "I am [he]" in Jn 4.26. What does "I am he" mean on the lips of Jesus?
@AbrahamicMovement I don't contradict myself since plural language is used many times to describe the One God in the Old Testament. It's a mystery and must be taken on faith. Do you think your finite mind can understand the infinite nature of God? The crowd understood Jesus was claiming to be YHWH by that statement because they tried to kill Him for it. Killing was for blasphemy or claiming to be God.
@kyzersoze74 Gen 1:26 is an example of a plural pronoun in reference to the one God. Only Jesus was calling Himself the God of the Jewish Scriptures "I am he" since John starts out his Gospel account proclaiming that Jesus is God in 1:1.
@jeffrey0662 are you going to answer my question? where does the word "God" or the name YHWH mean "Father, Son & HS"? and why don't translators render those Hebrew words in the plural instead of the singular? So Moses is "gods" in Ex 4.16; 7.1?
@sbgrox11 You have to prove, using the data of the Bible, that my ideas are contrary to the Bible in order for you to prove that I am closed minded. Since you can't do that then your accusation is baseless. But I have shown where you refuse to believe what Jesus said and that makes you the closed minded one here.
You have yet to prove that my view is any different from what the Bible says. You are the one who's view is contrary to the Bible since you refuse to believe that Jesus is God.
@sbgrox11 Since Jesus rightfully claimed to be God, then you don't believe in God, since you refuse to believe who God is. That is why you will die in your sins.
@sbgrox11 Since Jesus clearly taught about the Trinity then I won't be considered lawless. You however, will die in your sins since you refuse to believe that Jesus is "I Am".
@sbgrox11 Your appeals to authority is a fallacy. What matters are facts and the facts show the Bible teaches the Trinity. All the way from Gen 1:26 "Let US make..." through Rev 1 & 22 "I am the Alpha and Omega, The Almighty...I Jesus"
@sbgrox11 Even the Jehovah's Witness NWT Bible admits the word "[the]" is not in the Greek since it puts that word in brackets: "our God and [the] Savior Jesus Christ:" 2 Pet 1:1 That means the orignal Greek says "our God and Savior Jesus Christ". The NWT rightly translates "God" as an uppercase to mean Jehovah. So, it means "our Jehovah and Savior Jesus Christ".
@sbgrox11 There never has been a debate about the Trinity only rebelious individuals who refuse to worship God has he as revealed Himself to us in the Scriptures as a Trinity.
@sbgrox11 Actually, the concept of the Trinity was always in the conscousness of the first century church. Jesus taught it and so did the Apostles. But the term "Trinity" wasn't coined until 180 A.D. by Tertullian. So, you're wrong again.
@sbgrox11 Jesus said to baptize His followers in the NAME (singular), not names, of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus most definitely taught about the Trinity. Jesus was saying that the one God is three persons.
The Father , Son, and Holy Spirit = God "Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?" John 14:10 --- "Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen." Romans 9:5
@sbgrox11 I am not a Trinitarian..LOL never have, never will be.I will stop believing in God the day I embrace that 4th century man made doctrine.Guess you never watched any of my videos :)
@OnlyTheScriptures I suppose you didn't watch my video since you avoid discussing the evidence that Jesus did believe in the Trinity by saying that He was the I AM.
@jeffrey0662 Jesus was not a Trinitairan..Here is his creed..Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Notice He said the Lord OUR God..that is correct..Jesus had a God sir..you cannot be God and have a God and STILL be God. The I AM arguments are actually a very weak point to use..I suppose then the blind man in John 9 was God too..He also said he was "i am" :)
@OnlyTheScriptures In the context of John 8:24 when Jesus said He is "I am", the crowd understood Jesus was claiming to be Jehovah since they tried to stone Him for making that claim (Jn 8:59) see Lev 24:16 for stoning as penalty for blasphemy. But nobody accused the man in John 9:9 of making that claim, nobody tried to stone him. In fact, that man worshipped Jesus as Jehovah (Jn 9:38) and Jesus never stopped Him. So again, John is telling us that Jesus is Jehovah.
@jeffrey0662 I would have to disagree strongly..as pointed out the I AM statements do not prove Jesus to be God..The blind man used it,Paul said I AM the chief of sinners etc..it is a common usage of words..Jesus told the woman at the well that I AM he..She did not think He was God..look at what she went and told her people..come SEE A MAN.. The woman saith unto him{Jesus}, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. He did not correct her.the word WORSHIP does not mean what you think it does..
@OnlyTheScriptures You can disagree but not by any reason to. The crowd understood Jesus' references of "I am" to be calling Himself Jehovah. What's your excuse there, 'the crowd misunderstood Jesus'? No, they understood Jesus quite well.
@jeffrey0662 Dude,I am not one to go back and forth forever,it is apparent you want to stay in your box and that is fine. The Jews did not think Jesus was God or did they expect the Messiah to be God.The I am argument does not support you
@OnlyTheScriptures You are making a lie about what I said. I would rather stay in the box of truth than your wide open road to hell and lies. Go back and re-read my post. I never said the Jews thought Jesus was God. I said the reason they tried to stone Him was for blasphemy for calling Himself God by using the "I Am" about Himself in John Ch 8 and esp 8:59...cont'd
@OnlyTheScriptures ...cont'd John makes it very clear the Jews understood Jesus was declaring Himself to be Jehovah: John 10:31-33 (NLT) Once again the Jewish leaders picked up stones to kill him. [32] Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many things to help the people. For which one of these good deeds are you killing me?" [33] They replied, "Not for any good work, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, have made yourself God.""
@jeffrey0662 That is generally where people stop when reading John 10:31-33...What you are doing is taking the enemies of Christ words over the very words of Jesus..It was the JEWS accusing Jesus of "making himself God" and let us notice how Jesus responded when accused of being God..
Joh 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because{{{{{ I said, I am the Son of God?}}}}} Jesus said He was who? Jesus denied the claim Jeff:)
@OnlyTheScriptures I would like to see you explain why you think Jesus was denying the claim of His Deity. Jesus never uttered a contradictory comment in that context to thier rightly saying that Jesus was claiming to be God.
over 20,000 personal pronouns of I,me,Him and not one time do they indicate more than One.Jesus was not a Trinitarian and neither should His followers be.:)
@OnlyTheScriptures Your personal pronoun argument is a strawman since there are places in the Bible were God uses a plural pronoun in reference to God. Jesus equated Himself with God the Father on many occasions and the New Testament clearly teaches the Trinity.
@OnlyTheScriptures Since God has revealed Himself to us in the Bible as a plurality of three persons then you don't believe in God now. You believe in a god who doesn't exist, a god of your own making.
20Now a go-between (intermediary) has to do with and implies more than one party [there can be no mediator with just one person]. Yet God is [only] one Person .Okay now let me hear the water down argument since this is not KJV
@OnlyTheScriptures There is no word for "Person" in the original Greek text which means God is only one "party" (v20a AMP) if the AMP translators want to be consistent in their interpretation of that verse. Since Paul was a Trinitarian he didn't mean that God is not a plurality of persons but that there is only one God. Paul uses this same word for "one" Gr:heis to mean a compound unity of a plurality of person in Gal 3:28. Would you say that Paul means that all Christians are only one person?
The only people who will be allowed into heaven will be Jews and Muslims because christians follow a way of life that resembles Pagan beliefs in multiple gods, Jews and Muslims worship one God
God took away sins via Jesus and Jesus was the actual agent to do this so in that sense "God" took away the sins of the world. That's also why they both say "I am he"
You dont have any proof, just fairy-tales and ignorant beliefs, study science as much as your story book bible and you will see the truth, you provided me no facts just 2000 year old bullshit from some people who your churchs admit never exist, you lost this debate by a long shot.
@IDRISMUTA "Eyewitness, a person who gives evidence as to facts seen by himself." -The Law Dictionary, Anderson Publishing Co.
You are the one believing in fairy tales. You have failed to prove the Bible is bull****. Several independent eyewitness reports won this debate over your "uh, uh, no it isn't " arguments.
@IDRISMUTA You need to offer a single FACT to prove that Christianity is not based on historically reliable data. Your remarks have all been based on stupidity. You can't falsify the Bible with stupid remarks.
So, Jesus never wrote on a single piece of paper, a journal or even write an I.O.U., no physical proof of his life, just people who had a lot to gain by claiming they met Gods son and if you do as he (we) say, you go to heaven
And by the way, eyewitnes accounts are considered heresay in the court of law, the burden of truth falls on you to prove what you believe is fact not fiction.
@IDRISMUTA You need to look up the definition of "hearsay" and "eyewitness" in a law dictionary. They are not the same thing. Eyewitness testimony is a fact in a case but hearsay is not allowed as evidence.
@IDRISMUTA Your remarks are getting more dumb as we continue. What did the Apostles gain? Tell me how many of them got rich from preaching about Jesus' resurrection?
All those people corrobrated a hoax, are their any historic manuscripts by Jesus himself, NO, if you God son I think you could find time to write a journal. And why was the bible written so long after his death
@IDRISMUTA Christianity is not based on what Jesus wrote about Himself like so many other religions do. The New Testament was written during the life time of the eyewitnesses. The onus is on you to prove that so many corroborating independent eyewitness reports are a hoax. Jesus' life and resurrection is the most documented event of all ancient history. You have to discount what we know about all ancient history as a hoax then. Do you think what we know about all ancient history is a hoax?
Besides all the New Testament documents themselves (which corroborate one another), there are also people who personally knew the Apostles and wrote about them such as Papias (who knew the Apostle John) and Polycarp. With all the corroboration about Jesus (the most of all ancient history) you are a self deluding fool to reject Him as your God.
The legend if Thor was passed down by word of mouth, the Vikings learned about the Christ from the bible, just because someone decided to write the first piece of fiction doesn't mean its true
The pyramids are older then Jesus, inside, on the walls, are writings about Gods coming from the sky, why dont you believe that, but zombie jew makes more sense to you, your crazy
Just because the Greeks were said "Hey, lets write this crap down so it won't appear to be a legend like all other stories of ressurection, and throw in some accounts by people who never existed." Doesn't make it true.
@IDRISMUTA Everything you bring up doesn't have any basis in any fact. The onus is on you to falsify the New Testament with FACTS. Refusing to believe them is not a fact that falsifes them.
@IDRISMUTA Greek was the common language in Israel and the whole known world in the first century. The Apostles wrote the New Testament originally in Greek so the whole world could believe in Jesus Christ.
@IDRISMUTA Only a self deluded person like yourself would deny the existence of the kind of evidence that is allowed in court cases today. Eyewitness testimony is a fact in court cases. It is strengthened when two or more corroborate. That is why the U.S. govt has the Federal Witness Protection Program to preserve the testimony of eyewitnesses. But closed minded people like insist that there is no such thing as eyewitness testimony. You are going to hell by keeping your eyes and mind closed.
@IDRISMUTA The reason Christianity is not based on blind faith is because it is built on several independent and credible eyewitness reports that all corroborate. Eyewitness testimony is considered facts in law court cases today. They make their case, the onus is on you to falsify them all with FACTS. I suggest that you study what the historical method is. Your "I refuse to believe them" attitude is not a fact that falsifies.
Do yoy believe in UFO's, because groups of people claim that they all see them, its also documented, that does not make it true, some people just lie and say they saw something just for attention, your a fool, plain and simple, you lost this debate due to your gross ignorance
@IDRISMUTA The onus is on you to prove the authors of the New Testament all lied. You can start a video of your own to discuss UFO's so don't change the subject. Either falsify the eyewitness documents to Jesus' resurrection or admit that you can't.
@IDRISMUTA My info on Horace is not wrong. If it were you could cite the primary source document to prove me wrong. But I know that you can't because your Horace myth about a virgin birth and resurrection from the dead is a myth.
You are praying to a myth no different from Thor, Zeus, Ra, Mithra, Horace God will punish you eternally for following idol worshipers that twist his words
@IDRISMUTA Myth's aren't based on several independent and credible eyewitness reports. I pray to a real person who created the universe and rose from the dead after three days in the grave. The unus is on you to falsify those historical documents of the New Testament. But, you can't because they are true.
You hope there is a God, you dont believe because if you did you wouldnt be so caught up in insignifigant details about getting Gods name right, hell fire awaits the fools who see only with shallow hopes and dreams
You still havent given me proof that Jesus ever existed. People say they see Elvis ay 7-11 do you believe them? And why wouldnt God share his message with the whole world? What about the people in africa, china, japan, american indians, how were they supposed to hear about Jesus and what about people before jesus, do they have to go hell?
Yes there is, heiroglyphics, duhhh, they tell Horace story and you can read them now, go to the pyramids, the roseta stone translated it, its older then jesus, and there a over 2 billion muslims and counting on earth google it do some real research
@IDRISMUTA There are no hieroglyphics that tell a story of Horace being born from a virgin or resurrecting from the dead. Horace's mother was married before Horace was born which means she was not a virgin because she consummated here marriage on her wedding night. Also, the ancient Egyptians did not believe in a physical resurrection from the dead. They believed in a spiritual afterlife in the spirit world and the physical body stayed a mummy in a tomb. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is unique.
@IDRISMUTA Islam is not growing by conversions based on rational superiority over Christianity but by births to Muslim parents. There is not a single fact in the Muslim faith that falsifies the Bible.
What about the story of Mithra and Horus who's stories are roughly 1 THOUSAND years older then Jesus and both have the same origin of a virgin birth and ressurection, being sons of God, now what you gonna say about that, God stole someone else story because he can create a universe but not an original story.
@IDRISMUTA There is not a single fact to support that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is anything like Mithra and Horus myths. There is not a single piece of primary source evidence in any ancient writings that pre date Christianity about a virgin birth and resurrection from the dead. Don't you know what a fact is?
Thousands of people falsify the bible and become muslim, islam is the fastest growing religion due to holes in Christianity. Fact; Pope Leo X stated "This myth of Christ has served us well." Also it's widely known that emperor Constatine held a public known vote to see if they should keep the myth alive and start a church dedicated to making money
@IDRISMUTA Nothing you typed is based on a single fact because appeals to authority is a fallacy. What matters in this discussion are facts not authority figures. It doesn't matter what muslims , popes, or kings say. What matters here are the facts to support what they say. You can't falsify the Bible without any facts.
@IDRISMUTA Murder is unjust killing. For i.e. to steal property in a robbery. But putting a murderer to death as punishment is not murder.
Science has not proven the age of the earth. Those dating methods are based on unverifiable assumptions. You can't falsify the Bible by assuming it's false.
How many wooden things have survived from 5,500 years ago? You can't falsify the Bible with unreasonable demands.
@IDRISMUTA Animals didn't have to fly or swim to get to Noah because the earth was one continent before the flood Genesis 10:25 (KJV) And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
Kangaroos dont swim. Exodus says not to kill, but later in 32:27 says arm all your men and kill every man, brother, woman and nieghbor, Leviticus says you get the death penalty if you kill but Samuel 6:19 says people lamented when God he slaugtered many people
@IDRISMUTA The Ten Commandments in Exodus says not to murder. It uses a word that has a moral denotation. It is not wrong to kill but it is wrong to murder according to the Bible.
sorry about the type-os, Im multitasking right now, but religion. should be outlawed, we should just give thanks to God and not worry about every tiny word because if God is truly mercifull Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddist, ect... It wont matter to him because mercy means he wont sweat the small stuff. You seem bright but you really need to loosen up and enjoy life because whatever is out there is more unimaginable then you might assume.
@IDRISMUTA First, you must prove the Bible is wrong. Not until you do that can you have any reasonable opinion that contradicts it. That means everything you just said is a bunch of lies. You are deceiving yourself.
God just wants some appreciation for sll his hard work, man created religion to separate and control, as soon as humans accept that our species will move on to thr next phase of our time hear. The crusades are still being fought, babies, woman, innocent people suffer as I type this all for something that happened 2000 years ago, whats the point if religion only prompts hate for those who disagree with others views.
@IDRISMUTA Nothing in your diatribe is supporting your belief that the Bible is false. You are in denial. That makes you delusional. Your philosophy about God is a delusion.
The names being changed shows how man change things for their own needs, who would have the balls to change history if it were so true, and how do you know people saw Jesud actually rise up, have you met anyone who was there? No, didnt think do, I believe in God but I refuse to believe he would build all this life, planets, stars around us, just to be as petty as a spoiled kid who didnt get precisly what he want from Toys R Us.
@IDRISMUTA A translation does not change the meaning or history but changes the language so people can read it. The New Testament documents are written in Greek, can you read Greek? If so then you can go see the names in Greek for yourself. If you want to say the Bible is false then the onus is on you to prove it is with facts. The New Testament is eyewitness documentation which is the most valuable source to historians. Jesus' life, death, and resurrection is absolute historical fact.
Ask yahoo, yuhoo, yodelahehoooo to fix your hair line you freaking man child. How can you be a grown man and believe in fairy tales about things like zombie jews from outer realms. The bible was man made to control suckers like you, ask yourself why all the apostals have English names first before you make a video of yourself mastubating this crap on youtube
@IDRISMUTA You believe some lies. First, there is no reason for you to call the resurrection of Jesus Christ a fairy tale since it is the most independent eyewitness documented event of all ancient history.. Second, the Bible was written by men but inspired by God to save sinners from hell. Third, the Apostles names are Hebrew and Greek but translated into English for English readers. For example: Peter (Eng) is Petros (Grk). You shouldn't be so rude, it makes you look small minded.
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Ok so Jesus was saying you must believe he is the messiah to be saved.
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
No where in scripture does it say you must believe the Trinity to be saved
@SupernaturalGifts777 Your illiterate logic using John 20:31 can be turned against you because that verse doesn't say you must believe Jesus is the "messiah" either. The word "Trinity" is a theological term that describes the systematic theology the scriptures teach about the Trinity.
@SupernaturalGifts777 Paul is saying that Jesus is YHWH in Rom 10:9. Paul is alluding to Jesus being the YWHW of Joel 2:32 that Paul quotes in Rom 10:13 (Lord=YHWH). Jesus is telling you, through the writings of Paul, that unless you say outloud with your mouth that Jesus is Jehovah God (YHWH) you won't be saved.
I know I am saved, I have been since I was 4 years old
Your not God nor Jesus so you have no right to say I am not saved your arguments for me not being saved is pure rubbish. All your doing by making this video is causing arguments 1 Timothy 2:8: I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.
Don't know about you but I got spiritual war to fight with Satan and I got a walk with Christ to develop.
@SupernaturalGifts777 You are not saved because you renounce Jesus' full and absolute Divinity. I bet you are an immoral person too. The Bible warns about people like you who deny Jesus' Sovereignty when it says: Jude 1:4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
@SupernaturalGifts777 There is nothing wrong with arguing against false doctrine since Jesus and the Apostles did it all the time. People who don't want to argue are heretics because they don't want their lies exposed. Who do you think you are to renounce what the Bible says about Jesus? You are making yourself into your own God.
Surprise, surprise -- the bible is contradictory!! About many things. That is why we have so many denominations, so many theological arguments. And some people call it the 'inerrant word of God."
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon The many denominations aren't due to any contradictions in the Bible but due to contradictions among interpretation methods.
jeffrey0662 1 week ago
@jeffrey0662 ::: The reason there are interpretation problems is because the teachings, the meanings, are not clear. The weight of differing teachings is judged differently by different scholars, or founders of different denominations. Sabbath, or Lord's Day? Salvation by faith only, or with faith and works, or add baptism to the mix? Rapture? pre, post or mid millenium? Or just the 2nd coming? Was Jesus born during the reign of Herod, or when Quirinius was governor?
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon The Bible is clear about the meaning of its major tenets.
Jesus was born during the reign of Herod during the first census when Quirinius was governer of Syria Luke 2:2 (NLT) (This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) This language presupposes a second census and term was subsequent.
jeffrey0662 1 week ago
@jeffrey0662 :::Scholars say that Herod was no longer king when Quirinius was Governor. They were not contemporaries. Does this mean Jesus was born twice?
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon It means your scholars are ignoring the facts. Other scholars say stone inscriptions found show Quirinius governed twice, just like Luke says.

"... John is the only gospel in which Jesus is explicitly identified as divine." "John's gospel is the only one with this exalted view of Christ." "... the assumption that Jesus had called himself God. I had long ago come to believe that he had not" "... if Jesus claimed he was divine, it seemed very strange indeed that Matthew, Mark, and Luke all failed to say anything about it." Bart Ehrman, "Jesus, Interrupted", Chapter five.
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon It is not true that John is the only Gospel where Jesus explicitly identified his Divinity. Here is one example from Matt and the high priest understood that Jesus claimed Divinity by accusing Jesus of blasphemy and deserving death: Matthew 26:64-66 (NLT) ...cont'd
jeffrey0662 1 week ago
@k0smon cont'd... Jesus replied, "Yes, it is as you say. And in the future you will see me, the Son of Man, sitting at God's right hand in the place of power and coming back on the clouds of heaven." [65] Then the high priest tore his clothing to show his horror, shouting, "Blasphemy! Why do we need other witnesses? You have all heard his blasphemy. [66] What is your verdict?" "Guilty!" they shouted. "He must die!"
jeffrey0662 1 week ago
@jeffrey0662 ::: (NRSV) "Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the SON OF MAN seated at the right hand of Power and coming in the clouds of heaven."
Jesus separates himself from the 'Power' by saying he is at the 'right hand' of It. And calls himself son of man, not son of God and certainly not God the Son. It is the high priest's judgement that he has 'blasphemed', not Jesus' words claiming to be God.
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon Yes, Jesus is separate because God is three separate persons. God the Son is human (the son of man). Ps 110:1 describes divinity and the high priest understood that. The Di Rossi manuscript for Ps 110:1 reads "Jehovah said unto Jehovah". The Septuagint (LXX) reads Ps 110:3 as "I have begotten you from before the morning". That shows the one on the right is eternally beggoten, pre-existing, as John 1:14 shows.
jeffrey0662 1 week ago
@jeffrey0662 ::: The doctrine of the trinity is a mystery and cannot be understood by the mind of man, because 1+1+1=1 does not make sense. The compound God, 3 yet 1. Or is it 2, Jehovah and Jesus with the Holy Spirit just another name for the power of God? Or is Jesus the name of both creator and his physical representation?
At best, we can only have an idea of God. To propound a trinity only makes it more difficult and confusing. Perhaps Micah 6:8 says it all.
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon Does 1+1=1 of Gen 2:24 not make sense you either? It's the same Hebrew word for a compound unity of "one" as in Deut. 6:4. Breaking the First Commandment by consciously renouncing the Trinity is not following Micah 6:8.
jeffrey0662 1 week ago
@jeffrey0662 :: There is no misunderstanding of the meaning of Gen 2:24, as it does not mean they physically became one, only mentally.
There are only three commandments in Micah 6:8 : justice, humility, and kindness.
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon A husband and wife are two separate people, God is three separate persons. The same God of Micah 6:8. Any other God than the Trinitarian God is not the God of Micah 6:8.
jeffrey0662 1 week ago
@jeffrey0662 :::If God is 3 separate people, how can he be 'one'? The God of Micah was Jehovah. There was no Jesus and no H.S.
k0smon 1 week ago
@k0smon You need to submit your reasoning to God's revelation in the Bible. For example, there are two Jehovahs shown here, one in the sky and the other a man who met face to face with Abraham and ate food in the Gen ch 18-19: 24 "Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven;" Gen 19:24 ASV

I Timothy 4:10 (King James Version)
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
The Saviour of ALL men. It doesn't say only those that believe. It says specially those that believe.
mysteryperson1976 2 weeks ago
@mysteryperson1976 Your universalism is causing you to act illiterate. The word "specially" or "particularly" in other translations means that he is the Savior of all men singled out by their belief in Him.
jeffrey0662 2 weeks ago
@jeffrey0662 I looked at that verse from different translations and only one of them said something other than things like "especially" or "particularly."
mysteryperson1976 2 weeks ago
@mysteryperson1976 You didn't address what I wrote. Please re read my earlier response to you. "especially" or "particularly" denies universalism.
jeffrey0662 2 weeks ago

@TruthAtlas Pretending many Bible verses don't exist that embarass your "Biblical Unitarian" (an oxymoron) position is irrational. You're doomed.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 There are only some tricky passages, but we can explain them in a historical, contextual, grammatical way rather than telling people Jesus has two centers of consciousness like that cartoon Yugioh. It's not God the Son in the Son of God; it's God the Father. Jesus is his own God. A necessity you MUST make if you are a Trinitarian or else you have more than one god.
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas You are mischaracterizing the Trinity. The Trinity never teaches that Jesus has two centers of consciousness and that Jesus is his own God. The Trinity is not more than one God but the one God is more than one person.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 It MUST teach he has two centers of consciousness yet claim he is still somehow one person... unless you believe in a type of kenosis where he emptied himself of knowing everything. You ABSOLUTELY MUST say Jesus is his own God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all "one God." The Son (Jesus) is the same god as the Father and Holy Spirit. We know that the lord has a God. We know Trinitarians claim he is God and that there is only one God. Thus, Jesus is the same God as his God.
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas You are describing Modalism, not Trinitarianism, erecting it as a strawman and then knocking it down. You are presupposing that God is only one person.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 First of all, 1 Cor 8:6 destroys your religion because God made Jesus lord. It has nothing to do with the Shema. He's talking about false deities and lords. Not false YHWH's. I'm not describing modal-ism. You believe the Father is the God of Jesus.
You believe the Jesus is God.
You believe there is only one God.
You believe Jesus is the same God as the Father
You believe Jesus is the same God as his God.
You believe Jesus is his own God. Granted, not the same person.
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas The Shema is the Jews monotheistic pledge against polythiesm. Paul was most definetly including Jesus in the Shema to combat the Corinthians idolatry addressed in the immeadiate context.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas I believe one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity because that's what the Bible reveals.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas //1 Cor 8:6 destroys your religion because God made Jesus lord. //
Acts 2:36 is an allusion to Ps 110:1 which Heb 1:3 (also alluding to Ps 110:1) tells us Jesus is an "exact representation of his [God's] being" NIV. So, God making Jesus Lord supports my religion sir.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 Not that I believe Jesus is his own God... He's purely human. That was just a statement to show the foolishness of Trinitarian doctrine.
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas The Father calls Jesus "God". Jesus is purely human and purely "God": Heb 1: 8 But to the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.
You rule with a scepter of justice.
9 You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you,
pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.”
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 The Father called an old testament king "God" and the writer of Hebrews rightly applied it to Jesus. You need to understand Jewish Christianity of the first century. Many people are called God, but it's understood they aren't God! The King of Israel is called God because he represents God. Jesus is the King of Israel. The Roman emperor was called God by people in that culture. The title God is an honorary sense of royalty. It doesn't always have to do with the one true Father God.
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas The Father didn't call Jesus just any god but the Lord God YHWH of Ps 102:5: Heb 1:10" And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of thy hands:" That is a title never given to anyone but the Lord God Jehovah Himself.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas That's a typo, I meant Ps 102:25.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 I choose terms such as "the Father alone is God" and "Jesus is purely human" because they accurately describe what I believe and can not be misunderstood. Purely means only, merely, simply, just, and solely. You can't be only human AND only God. You've lost your capacity to reasonably interpret the Scriptures or anything someone says that disagrees with what you believe. You twisted those words to make it so I can't define what I believe in positive terms.
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas Youare elevating rationalism over revelation and calling it "interpreting". Instead, you should accept what is written abiout Jesus' Deity and let it harmonize with the data that speaks of Jesus' humanity.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 No I'm not "rationalizing." You're just being disobedient to the Scriptures which say God is the Father of Jesus. Jesus has a God - how twisted this Trinity doctrine is! There is nothing written about Jesus' deity. He is purely human or else no one can be saved. You have no excuse for interpreting Hebrews 1:10 that way. It's talking about the Father. Look up thw correct interpretation for it if you want to live forever. "YHWH said to my lord." He was "made" lord that prophesied lord
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas Heb 1:8,9 shows that the Father has a God too, He calls Jesus "God". That's not my interpretation.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 The trinity is not a legitimate explanation of that verse. Jesus is called God, but it doesn't mean he is God. Once you accept that the Bible will make sense. Is everyone that is called God in the Bible God?
TruthAtlas 3 months ago
@TruthAtlas Since the Father says the Son created the universe (Heb 1:10) then that makes Jesus God Almighty.

Yawn!!!!
ojaymon 6 months ago
@ojaymon 1 Cor 8:6 says the one Lord of the Shema of Duet 6:4 is the one God the Father and one Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus applied the YHWH term to himself and his audience understood it that way and tried to kill him for it. This proves that Jesus was equating himself with God. That's the Trinity. BTW, there are no verses in Scripture that says God is only one person.
jeffrey0662 6 months ago
@jeffrey0662 The simple question is: When Paul declared that we have one God in 1 cor 8:6 and went on to then tell us who the one God is, how many persons did he mention to be the one God in that verse? :) Just a simple question. Please I would appreciate it if you can answer this question clearly and simply without dancing around it.. 1 cor 8:6 is an explicit verse that settles the controversy. Secondly, you are imposing a twinitarian conjecture on 1 cor 8:6 which still does not show a Trinity
ojaymon 6 months ago
@ojaymon Sure Paul mentions God once in reference to the Father in 1 Cor 8:6 alluding to the Shema of Deut 6:4, but he also mentions Jesus as the one Lord/YHWH in the Shema of Deut 6:4.
jeffrey0662 3 months ago
@jeffrey0662 Secondly, Jesus never equated himself with God the Father. All Trinitarians do is draw their conjectural conclusions from implicit verses that are controversial in interpretation while completely negating what the explicit verses say themselves that clearly confute their ideas. Jesus made it clear John 14:28¶ Ye have heard... I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
These are the direct words of Jesus himself. No need to create much Trinitarian gymnastics round it.
ojaymon 6 months ago
If you claim that there is 1 YHWH, you then contradict yourself that there are 2 YHWHs. You say the Father is YHWH & Jesus is YHWH, that makes 2. Obviously! You are not speaking a language that has any recognizable content. A suggestion: examine the first and therefore decisive use of "I am [he]" in Jn 4.26. What does "I am he" mean on the lips of Jesus?
AbrahamicMovement 6 months ago
@AbrahamicMovement I don't contradict myself since plural language is used many times to describe the One God in the Old Testament. It's a mystery and must be taken on faith. Do you think your finite mind can understand the infinite nature of God? The crowd understood Jesus was claiming to be YHWH by that statement because they tried to kill Him for it. Killing was for blasphemy or claiming to be God.
jeffrey0662 6 months ago
so everytime someone says "I am he" in John it means YHWH?

@kyzersoze74 Gen 1:26 is an example of a plural pronoun in reference to the one God. Only Jesus was calling Himself the God of the Jewish Scriptures "I am he" since John starts out his Gospel account proclaiming that Jesus is God in 1:1.

@sbgrox11 You have to prove, using the data of the Bible, that my ideas are contrary to the Bible in order for you to prove that I am closed minded. @sbgrox11 Your appeals to authority is a fallacy. What matters are facts and the facts show the Bible teaches the Trinity. All the way from Gen 1:26 "Let US make..." through Rev 1 & 22 "I am the Alpha and Omega, The Almighty...I Jesus"
jeffrey0662 7 months ago
@sbgrox11 Even the Jehovah's Witness NWT Bible admits the word "[the]" is not in the Greek since it puts that word in brackets: "our God and [the] Savior Jesus Christ:" 2 Pet 1:1 That means the orignal Greek says "our God and Savior Jesus Christ". The NWT rightly translates "God" as an uppercase to mean Jehovah. So, it means "our Jehovah and Savior Jesus Christ".

@sbgrox11 Actually, the concept of the Trinity was always in the conscousness of the first century church. Jesus taught it and so did the Apostles. But the term "Trinity" wasn't coined until 180 A.D. by Tertullian. So, you're wrong again.

OnlyTheScriptures 7 months ago
@OnlyTheScriptures In the context of John 8:24 when Jesus said He is "I am", the crowd understood Jesus was claiming to be Jehovah since they tried to stone Him for making that claim (Jn 8:59) see Lev 24:16 for stoning as penalty for blasphemy. But nobody accused the man in John 9:9 of making that claim, nobody tried to stone him. In fact, that man worshipped Jesus as Jehovah (Jn 9:38) and Jesus never stopped Him. So again, John is telling us that Jesus is Jehovah.
jeffrey0662 7 months ago
@jeffrey0662 I would have to disagree strongly..as pointed out the I AM statements do not prove Jesus to be God..The blind man used it,Paul said I AM the chief of sinners etc..it is a common usage of words..Jesus told the woman at the well that I AM he..She did not think He was God..look at what she went and told her people..come SEE A MAN.. The woman saith unto him{Jesus}, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. He did not correct her.the word WORSHIP does not mean what you think it does..

jeffrey0662 7 months ago
@OnlyTheScriptures ...cont'd John makes it very clear the Jews understood Jesus was declaring Himself to be Jehovah: John 10:31-33 (NLT) Once again the Jewish leaders picked up stones to kill him. [32] Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many things to help the people. For which one of these good deeds are you killing me?" [33] They replied, "Not for any good work, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, have made yourself God.""
jeffrey0662 7 months ago
@jeffrey0662 That is generally where people stop when reading John 10:31-33...What you are doing is taking the enemies of Christ words over the very words of Jesus..It was the JEWS accusing Jesus of "making himself God" and let us notice how Jesus responded when accused of being God..
Joh 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because{{{{{ I said, I am the Son of God?}}}}} Jesus said He was who? Jesus denied the claim Jeff:)

@IDRISMUTA You don't understand what the Bible says about Trinitarianism. The Trinity is one God who is three persons not three gods.
jeffrey0662 8 months ago
God took away sins via Jesus and Jesus was the actual agent to do this so in that sense "God" took away the sins of the world. That's also why they both say "I am he"

IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
You dont have any proof, just fairy-tales and ignorant beliefs, study science as much as your story book bible and you will see the truth, you provided me no facts just 2000 year old bullshit from some people who your churchs admit never exist, you lost this debate by a long shot.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA "Eyewitness, a person who gives evidence as to facts seen by himself." -The Law Dictionary, Anderson Publishing Co.
You are the one believing in fairy tales. You have failed to prove the Bible is bull****. Several independent eyewitness reports won this debate over your "uh, uh, no it isn't " arguments.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Just admit you base your religion on blind faith, hope and assumption
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA You need to offer a single FACT to prove that Christianity is not based on historically reliable data. Your remarks have all been based on stupidity. You can't falsify the Bible with stupid remarks.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
So, Jesus never wrote on a single piece of paper, a journal or even write an I.O.U., no physical proof of his life, just people who had a lot to gain by claiming they met Gods son and if you do as he (we) say, you go to heaven
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
And by the way, eyewitnes accounts are considered heresay in the court of law, the burden of truth falls on you to prove what you believe is fact not fiction.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA You need to look up the definition of "hearsay" and "eyewitness" in a law dictionary. They are not the same thing. Eyewitness testimony is a fact in a case but hearsay is not allowed as evidence.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Your remarks are getting more dumb as we continue. What did the Apostles gain? Tell me how many of them got rich from preaching about Jesus' resurrection?
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
All those people corrobrated a hoax, are their any historic manuscripts by Jesus himself, NO, if you God son I think you could find time to write a journal. And why was the bible written so long after his death
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Christianity is not based on what Jesus wrote about Himself like so many other religions do. The New Testament was written during the life time of the eyewitnesses. The onus is on you to prove that so many corroborating independent eyewitness reports are a hoax. Jesus' life and resurrection is the most documented event of all ancient history. You have to discount what we know about all ancient history as a hoax then. Do you think what we know about all ancient history is a hoax?
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Besides all the New Testament documents themselves (which corroborate one another), there are also people who personally knew the Apostles and wrote about them such as Papias (who knew the Apostle John) and Polycarp. With all the corroboration about Jesus (the most of all ancient history) you are a self deluding fool to reject Him as your God.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
But you dont have proof, you cant prove any of these eyewitnesses are real
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
The legend if Thor was passed down by word of mouth, the Vikings learned about the Christ from the bible, just because someone decided to write the first piece of fiction doesn't mean its true
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
The pyramids are older then Jesus, inside, on the walls, are writings about Gods coming from the sky, why dont you believe that, but zombie jew makes more sense to you, your crazy
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
Just because the Greeks were said "Hey, lets write this crap down so it won't appear to be a legend like all other stories of ressurection, and throw in some accounts by people who never existed." Doesn't make it true.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Everything you bring up doesn't have any basis in any fact. The onus is on you to falsify the New Testament with FACTS. Refusing to believe them is not a fact that falsifes them.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Historians will agree that Nors mythology predate Christ, Thor was sent to Earth by his Father to redeem his self for mankind, sound familar
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Please cite the primary source historical document that shows Thor was sent to earth by his father to redeem mankind?
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Then what language was the bible written in originally, because Greece is nowhere near Jerusalem.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Greek was the common language in Israel and the whole known world in the first century. The Apostles wrote the New Testament originally in Greek so the whole world could believe in Jesus Christ.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
You still can't prove anything, but good luck dealing with denial.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Only a self deluded person like yourself would deny the existence of the kind of evidence that is allowed in court cases today. Eyewitness testimony is a fact in court cases. It is strengthened when two or more corroborate. That is why the U.S. govt has the Federal Witness Protection Program to preserve the testimony of eyewitnesses. But closed minded people like insist that there is no such thing as eyewitness testimony. You are going to hell by keeping your eyes and mind closed.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
But you, yourself, cant prove the witness account, you rely on blind faith,
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA The reason Christianity is not based on blind faith is because it is built on several independent and credible eyewitness reports that all corroborate. Eyewitness testimony is considered facts in law court cases today. They make their case, the onus is on you to falsify them all with FACTS. I suggest that you study what the historical method is. Your "I refuse to believe them" attitude is not a fact that falsifies.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
And what about Mithra, his story is just like jesus
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA There is no evidence in any primary source material that Jesus Christ in the Bible parallels the Mithra myth.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Do yoy believe in UFO's, because groups of people claim that they all see them, its also documented, that does not make it true, some people just lie and say they saw something just for attention, your a fool, plain and simple, you lost this debate due to your gross ignorance
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA The onus is on you to prove the authors of the New Testament all lied. You can start a video of your own to discuss UFO's so don't change the subject. Either falsify the eyewitness documents to Jesus' resurrection or admit that you can't.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Your info. on horace is wrong
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA My info on Horace is not wrong. If it were you could cite the primary source document to prove me wrong. But I know that you can't because your Horace myth about a virgin birth and resurrection from the dead is a myth.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
You are praying to a myth no different from Thor, Zeus, Ra, Mithra, Horace God will punish you eternally for following idol worshipers that twist his words
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Myth's aren't based on several independent and credible eyewitness reports. I pray to a real person who created the universe and rose from the dead after three days in the grave. The unus is on you to falsify those historical documents of the New Testament. But, you can't because they are true.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
You hope there is a God, you dont believe because if you did you wouldnt be so caught up in insignifigant details about getting Gods name right, hell fire awaits the fools who see only with shallow hopes and dreams
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
You still havent given me proof that Jesus ever existed. People say they see Elvis ay 7-11 do you believe them? And why wouldnt God share his message with the whole world? What about the people in africa, china, japan, american indians, how were they supposed to hear about Jesus and what about people before jesus, do they have to go hell?
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
Yes there is, heiroglyphics, duhhh, they tell Horace story and you can read them now, go to the pyramids, the roseta stone translated it, its older then jesus, and there a over 2 billion muslims and counting on earth google it do some real research
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA There are no hieroglyphics that tell a story of Horace being born from a virgin or resurrecting from the dead. Horace's mother was married before Horace was born which means she was not a virgin because she consummated here marriage on her wedding night. Also, the ancient Egyptians did not believe in a physical resurrection from the dead. They believed in a spiritual afterlife in the spirit world and the physical body stayed a mummy in a tomb. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is unique.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Islam is not growing by conversions based on rational superiority over Christianity but by births to Muslim parents. There is not a single fact in the Muslim faith that falsifies the Bible.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Don't you know what a FACT is? Are you that numb to reality?
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
What about the story of Mithra and Horus who's stories are roughly 1 THOUSAND years older then Jesus and both have the same origin of a virgin birth and ressurection, being sons of God, now what you gonna say about that, God stole someone else story because he can create a universe but not an original story.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA There is not a single fact to support that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is anything like Mithra and Horus myths. There is not a single piece of primary source evidence in any ancient writings that pre date Christianity about a virgin birth and resurrection from the dead. Don't you know what a fact is?
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Thousands of people falsify the bible and become muslim, islam is the fastest growing religion due to holes in Christianity. Fact; Pope Leo X stated "This myth of Christ has served us well." Also it's widely known that emperor Constatine held a public known vote to see if they should keep the myth alive and start a church dedicated to making money
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Nothing you typed is based on a single fact because appeals to authority is a fallacy. What matters in this discussion are facts not authority figures. It doesn't matter what muslims , popes, or kings say. What matters here are the facts to support what they say. You can't falsify the Bible without any facts.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
So whats the difference between killing and murder. And science proved that Pangea was way before the ark. plus, where are the remains of the ark?
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Murder is unjust killing. For i.e. to steal property in a robbery. But putting a murderer to death as punishment is not murder.
Science has not proven the age of the earth. Those dating methods are based on unverifiable assumptions. You can't falsify the Bible by assuming it's false.
How many wooden things have survived from 5,500 years ago? You can't falsify the Bible with unreasonable demands.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Nobody has ever been able to falsify the Bible because it's the truth. When will you bend your will to it?
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
And penguins cant fly, so how did they make it that far
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Animals didn't have to fly or swim to get to Noah because the earth was one continent before the flood Genesis 10:25 (KJV) And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Kangaroos dont swim. Exodus says not to kill, but later in 32:27 says arm all your men and kill every man, brother, woman and nieghbor, Leviticus says you get the death penalty if you kill but Samuel 6:19 says people lamented when God he slaugtered many people
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA The Ten Commandments in Exodus says not to murder. It uses a word that has a moral denotation. It is not wrong to kill but it is wrong to murder according to the Bible.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Ok, how did Noah get Kangaroos, polar bears, penguins, bald eagles, tigers and a whole lot of animals that dont live in a desert on an ark?
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA God told Noah the animals would come to him to be kept alive, and they did.
Genesis 6:20 (NLT) Pairs of each kind of bird and each kind of animal, large and small alike, will come to you to be kept alive.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
sorry about the type-os, Im multitasking right now, but religion. should be outlawed, we should just give thanks to God and not worry about every tiny word because if God is truly mercifull Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddist, ect... It wont matter to him because mercy means he wont sweat the small stuff. You seem bright but you really need to loosen up and enjoy life because whatever is out there is more unimaginable then you might assume.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA First, you must prove the Bible is wrong. Not until you do that can you have any reasonable opinion that contradicts it. That means everything you just said is a bunch of lies. You are deceiving yourself.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
God just wants some appreciation for sll his hard work, man created religion to separate and control, as soon as humans accept that our species will move on to thr next phase of our time hear. The crusades are still being fought, babies, woman, innocent people suffer as I type this all for something that happened 2000 years ago, whats the point if religion only prompts hate for those who disagree with others views.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA Nothing in your diatribe is supporting your belief that the Bible is false. You are in denial. That makes you delusional. Your philosophy about God is a delusion.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
The names being changed shows how man change things for their own needs, who would have the balls to change history if it were so true, and how do you know people saw Jesud actually rise up, have you met anyone who was there? No, didnt think do, I believe in God but I refuse to believe he would build all this life, planets, stars around us, just to be as petty as a spoiled kid who didnt get precisly what he want from Toys R Us.
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA A translation does not change the meaning or history but changes the language so people can read it. The New Testament documents are written in Greek, can you read Greek? If so then you can go see the names in Greek for yourself. If you want to say the Bible is false then the onus is on you to prove it is with facts. The New Testament is eyewitness documentation which is the most valuable source to historians. Jesus' life, death, and resurrection is absolute historical fact.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
Ask yahoo, yuhoo, yodelahehoooo to fix your hair line you freaking man child. How can you be a grown man and believe in fairy tales about things like zombie jews from outer realms. The bible was man made to control suckers like you, ask yourself why all the apostals have English names first before you make a video of yourself mastubating this crap on youtube
IDRISMUTA 11 months ago
@IDRISMUTA You believe some lies. First, there is no reason for you to call the resurrection of Jesus Christ a fairy tale since it is the most independent eyewitness documented event of all ancient history.. Second, the Bible was written by men but inspired by God to save sinners from hell. Third, the Apostles names are Hebrew and Greek but translated into English for English readers. For example: Peter (Eng) is Petros (Grk). You shouldn't be so rude, it makes you look small minded.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Ok so Jesus was saying you must believe he is the messiah to be saved.
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
No where in scripture does it say you must believe the Trinity to be saved
SupernaturalGifts777 1 year ago
@SupernaturalGifts777 Your illiterate logic using John 20:31 can be turned against you because that verse doesn't say you must believe Jesus is the "messiah" either. The word "Trinity" is a theological term that describes the systematic theology the scriptures teach about the Trinity.
jeffrey0662 1 year ago
@SupernaturalGifts777 Paul is saying that Jesus is YHWH in Rom 10:9. Paul is alluding to Jesus being the YWHW of Joel 2:32 that Paul quotes in Rom 10:13 (Lord=YHWH). Jesus is telling you, through the writings of Paul, that unless you say outloud with your mouth that Jesus is Jehovah God (YHWH) you won't be saved.

I am not gonna debate with you I don't need to
I know I am saved, I have been since I was 4 years old
Your not God nor Jesus so you have no right to say I am not saved your arguments for me not being saved is pure rubbish. All your doing by making this video is causing arguments 1 Timothy 2:8: I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.
Don't know about you but I got spiritual war to fight with Satan and I got a walk with Christ to develop.
SupernaturalGifts777 11 months ago
@SupernaturalGifts777 You are not saved because you renounce Jesus' full and absolute Divinity. I bet you are an immoral person too. The Bible warns about people like you who deny Jesus' Sovereignty when it says: Jude 1:4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
@SupernaturalGifts777 There is nothing wrong with arguing against false doctrine since Jesus and the Apostles did it all the time. People who don't want to argue are heretics because they don't want their lies exposed. Who do you think you are to renounce what the Bible says about Jesus? You are making yourself into your own God.
jeffrey0662 11 months ago
@SupernaturalGifts777 2 Peter 1:1 (NLT)
