ok, I have a really annoying problem and yahoo answers is being a stinky fag. every game I run on my new gaming rig looks TERRIBLE unless I run it in 1360x768. after that, the higher the resolution, the shittier it looks. this is every game, crysis, portal 2, the witcher 2, dead space 2, red orchestra 2..... why is it doing this?

@ledZeppelin7680 Make sure that your screen can handle the resolutions you want to play. Some LCD/LED screens only show really good images on a specific resolution. Yours might be at its best at 720p.

this may look nice but still lighting looks inferior to consoles. and consoles visuals looks smoother and again with better lighting than pc thanks to cry engine 3.

@UpskirtPower yeah... But did you know those lighting effects and improved textures can be ripped straight from the Xbox 360 version and coded to work with the PC version ?

Only a matter of time before a modder does this, and releases a mod doing exactly what I described.

The mod uses textures ripped from the Xbox 360 version coded to work with the origina; Halo.

Most video cards cannot max out games like Crysis on their own (and hold a steady 60+fps). You need to either SLI or buy a dual core GPU like a GTX 590
