saying "more chesed for me means less chesed for you" is really misleading. the balance between chesed/gedulah (lovingkindness/generosity) and gevurah/din (power/judgement of people and things) is one of the greatest kabbalistic lessons.
gevurah without chesed is evil, chesed without gevurah is powerless to give. in balance there is no evil. as long as the sefirot are balanced, there is chesed for us both- ein sof, without end- it cannot be "used up." the flow is weakened only by imbalance.
