As a 11 year Navy Veteran and a volunteer for the USS Ranger Foundation, I am extremely proud to hear that the West Coast will have a battleship museum to call their own. My Grandfather served on the USS California BB-44 during WWII and it was after hearing his sea stories that lead to my subsequent enlistment. I wholeheartedly believe in your efforts to preserve this historic class of dreadnaughts and only wish that I was in the local area to help with your efforts!
