evie is an awesome minister of song, in sept '76 i met the Lord, evie, david ingles, chuck garrard, len mink, and andrae crouch was who the Holy Ghost used to disciple me thruough song. i'm a musician, and i write and sing for the Lord, and these annointed ministers of song really helped me along. so great to see evie perform for the Lord, thanks so much for posting.

LOL a Scandinavian girl singing a hick song. I listened to this as a kid. Makes me wonder if these singers were all retarded. All that talent and they never branched out from CCM to do a mainstream album. Yes, sing from the heart, but everyone has to make a living.

matttpain12 - Evie is alive & well. She is still married to the same husband (& pastor), Pele. She does different ministry things now. The closest to an official website to read/hear interviews, buy her music, etc is at VideosForFamily*com, under its Evie section. I never saw this video until recently. But it made me smile and laugh because I used to sing this as a child in elementary school. I wonder if it will catch on with my kids today. Good wholesome music for kids back then. Probably Veggietales' equivalent in popularity for the late '70s.
