The great music of Goodman,Prine,Hiatt..etc,should never be forgotten because they are true musical geniuses to anyone that actually cares about real music!
why so few hits ... wow the music world truely has missed the bus on this man .after all these years still so few know of this man ..glad my kids know his music
I dunno if I should go see John! I only have wierd friends if I have any that is. Last time was last March, me pal RAN up to someone gettin into a car..she thought was JP. Then she decides to bust into the backstage entrance causing a stage manager to almost explode with rage-Who the hell are you?MGR is mad..My pal decides to answer, slow and in a childlike voice, my name is Tami, and this is Kathleen! It almost killed me, the mgr wasnt diggin it. But then Tam blocked their car? oh yes its true
Freightdog 140......wholeheartedly agree. Shows the audience is there because they appreciate the performer......& it makes for a great concert. Pity that so many people are ignorant and insist on talking through performances
I absolutely LOVE how quiet the crowd is and how the lonesome echos from his voice and guitar resonate as if there is no one there but very well could be as if the whole world is there.............
this song and hello in there were childhood anthems to me on a 33 my how the times have changed. i hope younger people can live happy even though the the price to do so is so much
ok...drunk and depressed is not a good combo...listening to this brings back the memories like a fuckin wall...the sounenirs....memories of you , Dad...you kept the family together...I Love you...miss you forever
To bad there is no footage online of the singer songwriters austin city limits. John prine played three songs on there. it was awesome. I have it on Beta VCR. like 1983 or something.
A Great Song that Prine and Goodman often played togther on stage and recorded together. Steve Goodman did add to the guitar arrangement and thus improved that tune. However, he did not help in the writing of the song.
Hows he fingerpluck without a thumb plucktrumb is beyond me! Great cover John!

Please read the prophecies of Linda Newkirk at prophecies org
Important warnings from our Lord about the Antichrist, the Two Witnesses, Revelation 12, the false rapture/alien invasion
Preachers/televangelists will say the invasion is the return of Jesus, many will believe as war and chaos break out
The Obama prophecies, sobering!
False prophets in the churches will be performing counterfeit miracles, taken over by Satan.

Can we overrule the one person who dislikes this on the grounds of not knowing good music when he hears it?
