what she said find something from Siri Guru Granth sahib you can hold on and can say on your last breath .. thats it ..... it touched the very core of my heart.
I love this video! Thank you for sharing her words and the meaning of this song!! I have her album "Anand" on my iPod and play for all my facial clients. They usually buy it after listening to it. Who could not love that sweet voice from that beautiful sweet soul? Thank you!!
It is amazing to note that all major religions of the world are the words from god but in different tongues in different regions through different media. The way way it looks to me as i understand it seems to say that I am the alpha and the omega as it says in the Bible. I am the begining and the end but it goes one step further as to say that i am the mid. no offence to any body. if I have misinterpret it
because i myself I m a sikh which means that I am still learning. a learner.
The name is spelt correctly. The word Snatam is of Punjabi/ Hindi / Sanskrit origin. It is made of two words Sna + Atam(a) = Snatam. English speakers may pronounce it differently but in Punjabi/Hindi it would be pronounced as Snaa_tam (tam pronounced more like tum) with soft sound of "t" . "t" sound is pronounced with the tongue touching or pressing against the teeth as in the word "three" rather than with tongue touching above the upper gum line as in "tree".
In "Snatam" "Sna" means that which has been in existing in its pure form for very very long time. and "Atam" (atama) means soul.
There is another similar sounding word Snatan (note the letter "n" at the end instead of "m"). Tan ( again pronounced as tun) means a physical body or an organization. So "Snatan" means an organization that has been existing for long time in its original form without a change.
why jats are considered murkh .wow " real these people are better than us thats why they have adopted what we are forgetting. getting our kids cleanshave and forgetting our guru who laid his life for us
Close ur eyes, relax ur body n mind n take deep breath n release.surrender urself to Guru 's feet.Listen to snatam kaur n immmerse in bani for hrs if possible.
can you please load more videos of her talking as well as singing, she is awesome! we would like to hear more and learn please. thank you.

This is a great shabad, and it sounds even better on the album. It's actually a very upbeat, funky song! It's great.
Keep making wonderful music, Snatam, you are truly an angel.

Word "Satnam" means the same as Sat Naam in the Mool Manter. It means the "Absolute truth"/"The ultimate reality"/ "The true identity of things"
