the rack def sounds a bit better, its fairly subtle. I think the rack has an advantage because of the impedance matching where as going straight through any ol' interface won't display the same result. I'd be interested in hearing these with a tube preamp of some sort between the guitar and whatever interface you're going through...

Really the first 2 parts were so close it was hard to tell them apart at all. I think I'd need a frequenct analyser to tell if there were any differences. About the only thing I thought I heard different - and I repeat "thought" - was that the Soldano clean sounded fuller on the 11R version.
