I'm sitting with my cousin right now and we are playing the D-500 that he just bought last Friday. We are both floored by the quality of this instrument. I'm stunned that a guitar that sounds this fantastic, plays so sweetly and is constructed so well costs less than a grand. If you hum the right frequency into the sound-hole the entire instrument rings like a bell. I'll be getting one of these myself before the year is out.
