  • liking tht bass bro

  • any bassist out there with a sac? basically, get in the van type thing.

  • yeah a lefty how much was your bass?????????

  • i like that little shit you squeezed at the end XD

  • Marco has got the WARWICK INFINITY and this is the WARWICK CORVETTE i have got the same but my bass has got 4 strings ;)

  • your bass looks like the one of Marco (Nightwish)

  • Short n sweet but cool, a place up London called Bass Cellar are holding one of these for me so I can pick it up next week. £469 (which is $679). Need a new amp though to hear it at its full potential though, mine is absoloute shite.

  • a left handed player on youtube! yaaay!

  • haha yes we do exhist!

  • im with you on the left handed side (y)..well for eletric guitar im lefty but bass im righty lol

  • Power To The 5 string Basses!!!

  • power to 4 string basses the true basses

  • sure we exist :D

  • Power to the almighty left handed bassists :) Especially those with a taste for Warwicks.

  • Power to the almighty left handed bassist :) and especially those who like Warwicks.

  • i love warwicks nice job dude

  • want a pick? grow a longer nail. lol jk.

  • don't use the pick, the plectrum. i'm a bassist and i am really proud to say that the bass player can save their money because they don't play with plectrum

  • this video is an old one and needed to be played with a plectrum, other stuff i play i use my fingers or my thumb if im slapping!!

  • A bassist will use whatever he wants to get the sound he needs -- picks give more clarity, and a generally used for more distinctive sound and for heavyier riffs -- something you cannot do with fingers. Besides, picks are not expensive :)

  • yeah i know what you mean, ive been playing for a little over a year, i play with both pick and fingers, i must have spend atleast 30 euros on picks ( but thas just coz i lose them soo much at like gigs and stuff)

  • i think everyone loses alot of picks! i lose them all over the place then wen ive come bck from a gig or tour i end up buying loads more only to lose at the next gig!

  • yeah, but i also steal a LOT from from the guitarists :p

thnxs to that i can play with any type of pic kat all now :p

  • Sure, we may save $6 on 20 years worth of picks, but we pay 6-8x the price for strings.

We also need to pay more for an amp with more wattage (you'd need a 400-600w bass amp to keep up with a 100w guitar amp and drummer).

So in reality, we're not saving much by playing bass at all.

  • @amerilioxxx90 i think if you really can hanle the alternate picking technique and really strike the strings instead of fondling them, it sounds better on most rock songs than fingering. i myself use both and i have to admit that i play some rock/metal songs with my fingers too. i just think, that a bassplayer should be able to use both

  • @Koshev1 thanks for your comment, this is an old video that i uploaded 4 years ago and i play more with my fingers now than using a plectrum.

  • can you send me some tab on this...

    it looks so cool...

    that'd be great man.

  • seether

  • is that a warwick corvette

all warwicks are increidble but expensive

    by the way nice video

  • yeh its the Warwick Corvette 5 String Standard, cost me £830 from a music shop in london, had to have it ordered as where i live they dont sell warwick basses, its one hell of a bass and a must buy for any bassist.

  • wow dude that is over $1000 my guess in american its about $1150? (didnt want to do the math but 1 euro is $1.56)

  • this bass cost me £830 Gbp, which is about $1500 in dollars i think, im not too sure about exchange rates :P

  • Seether...

  • lefty bass

  • hey dude awesome;).. listen to Afro-Cuban stuff.. that reallly sounds awesome on a Rockbass!! (Y) Keep it up pro;)

  • thnx for the kinda words, ill look up some afro-cuban stuff sometime.

  • Yay lefty bass players! I'm even ordering a Warwick too! :~)

  • Sounds like punk rock. No offense

    Still Good.

  • that not metal, thats the begining of some seether song, i think fade away

  • dude u are a lefty kool so am i

  • nice corvette! warwicks sound like heaven

  • cool, but can you do this in a more musical context?

  • you shud tab this out for me too:)

  • leave the pick man...

  • thanx for the comment dude, i dont always use a pick, but this sounded better with it. thanx again dude.

  • I understand you sometims not often but sometimes i use the pick just for the sound. but you can do this sound with the amp, change the bass level and the treble level and than you can play with your fingers and it will sound like pick.

  • i like ur bass

but that wasnt very metal, was it?!?

  • I agree

  • good job, but dont forget to play other music styles too

  • thanx for your comment, i do play alot of different styles on bass but my cams not working so i cant upload any new vids but ill upload some more soon with my new bass!

  • hey -_- this is the bassline of the song "fade away" from seether...

  • yup it is indeed, great band too

  • Not something which does a great deal for me. Still, good effort. Some people really need to learn how to learn by ear ffs. Don't give them the tabs, if they can't work out something this clear and direct then they'll never be able to learn something for themselves.

  • Sounds like it has potential as a melodic bass line to a song rather than a solo. And that's a good thing.

  • this sounds more like blink style or another band of that musical style (punk rock i think?)

    nice, though!

  • hey nice played btw i play bass to I have a Spector USA neck-thru serie with a Ashdown MAG300 and a Ashdown 4x10 inch speaker cabinet. and this song RULEZ! :D keep on rockin'

  • what model is this?

  • its the corvette standard

  • very nice. tab please?

  • man where did you buy that left handed bass and how much???

  • the bass centre in london and it was £830.

  • im not sure about warwick rock basses. ive never tried one. my bass is a real warwick corvette bass and i think the rock bass version isnt as good. their like £300-£400 and the warwick corvettes are anywhere from £800-£1000

    So yea, GIMME GIMME GIMME!

  • lmao, my bass is on ebay if your seriously interested for £400!

  • seemed more like a riff than a solo, good job though!

  • sweet sounding bass you got going on man.
