Religion yes, both are predominantly Orthodox Christians. And Eritrea was freed 20 years, not 13. May 24th 1991. and It wasn't Ethiopia and Eritrea all this time. We each had our own identity before Eritrea went through occupation after occupation and then Ethiopia took it over in 1961.
