That's one of the most commons tricks on PES2009, the only thing with it, is that can only be made against an opponnent, so you can not practice this on trainning mode.

You only have to wait unitl you get enough close to the other player while NOT running, then press a 90º direction from the one your player is walking and at the same time press L1.

If you have PES EDITOR, you have to look for HEEL DASH option.

Pes was a awsome game compared to Fifa back in 06 and 07 and so on before then... but i gotta say... fifa has dominated Pes these last two years.... especially Fifa 09... i orginally got Pes 09 cos i WAS a huge Pes fan.... cos the gameplay was heaps more realistic... ......buuuut..... this year Fifa 09 has converted me to Fifa.. its heaps more realistic and better graphics.... Complete domination over Pes..... Check all the reviews too... its a fact... Fifa got Pes beat this year....

This is the best game ever! Konami always provided the best games!

If you wanna waste your money, buy Fifa. If you wanna use your money on bloody good games, buy PES. I have them both... Dissapointed I have fifa.. and don't play it anymore. PES is much, much better bot gameplay and graphics. And easy to browse though the game, control players and create ones.

I havent created players on fifa but on PES you can take a photo and paste it on the players face, making him with your real face!
