Foley or someone in the task force, which makes the player feel important, just like in Halos campaign. In MW3, you play as Frost, but it feels like you're just doing the same thing as everyone else, so you don't feel as important as Ramirez or Roach.
@iDontbreakPS3 Perhaps, it does get a bit boring sometimes. Perhaps playing as Canadians, French or even Germany etc. Probably not likely but maybe people will get a chance to play as a different country in MW3.

None of the countries you've mentioned have the kind of military tech that we have. Trust me, you'd get bored real fast. Without a doubt, this is the best mission in the game. Especially if you play it for the first time. From the very start, it shows a unsure battle for the Rangers, only to reveal the true realisim of the invasion, America is dying, seeing the Washington Monument damaged is chilling and with the battle around you, it's feels so real. When the time comes to man the minigun and that powerful score kicks in, thats when it becomes a real epic struggle which pumps you up. A great mission, I love it.

I highly doubt any country in the world is really prepared for an invasion if it's as sudden as the one in the game. Just keep in mind that few countries have the power projection to send out a substantial force on short notice.

I highly doubt any country in the world is really prepared for an invasion if it's as sudden as the one in the game. Just keep in mind that few countries have the power projection to send out a substantial force on short notice.
