Never been a 'massive' Husker Du fan, always respected them. I was aware of them, had my favourite songs (girl on heaven hill, etc) Never bothered with sugar
Seeing this, he's just seems like a great guy- I'm going to bother with what he's doing (that sounds awful I know, no better way to express myself). Thanks for posting
Bob Mould rocks. His Husker Du songs helped get me through my teens. I didn't realise he was gay until a long time afterwards (round about the time of Sugar), and although I'm not gay myself, by then it just reinforced my sense that when artists really communicate with people it doesn't matter whose ass they stare at in the street. He writes great fucking songs and sings and plays them with passion, and that's what matters. In short, if he came on to me, I'd have to think pretty hard about it.
This is the first time that I have looked at this chap in interview. I have been listening to his music for twenty years. I am not disappointed. A good dude.

Remarkable how older generations have a much better grip on what an interview is for. Yes, they're older but even in their youngest efforts you can spot the difference.
Great stuff! Over the years whether in the Huskers or Sugar or solo, Bob has been one of my very favorite artists. Great, humble guy. And a really good guy to interview him. No dumbarse questions! Thanks for posting.
