...Youre telling me there werent any cosplayers in the whole world who could pantamine on camera for 20 seconds each, but instead we get these Disney nightmares
This reminds me of some of the old commercials from around the time when Toonami 1st got DBZ. I remember theres was a couple guys in Johnny Bravo, Dexter, Goku, Vegito and I think Edd costumes.
This reminds me of the old CN commercials. It`s good to have a trip down memory lane...just a trip. Im Not complaining that Cartoon Network is dead and BS. Honestly I feel that most of the shows on the CN are very lackluster with the exceptions of Adventure Time, Regular Show, and (from time to time) The Amazing World Of Gumball. Truth is I grew up in that transition of cartoon network in 2006 to 2009. Some of my favorite shows are still on, but we need to not live in the past. Im just saying...
PsychoticMuffinz is right, this would've been 20% cooler if they did this the way the old CN did things, with actual cartoons instead of lame costumes. they didn't even talk in the commercial!
... They should've just did what they did for the old Realistic-Cartoon cross over commercials and used actual cartoons instead of creepy ass costumes that make the cartoon they're representing look like abominations and eyesores.
@PsychoticMuffinz I prefer the creepy costumes than no commercials like this because CN nowadays barely puts characters from different shows together.
The only Cartoon that lasted through the years is Scooby Doo and Shaggy and the Looney Tunes. Except the writers screwed up that new series they were in. And the Looney Tunes show is just a retro future version of what they never were meant to be.
@IareMikeJones Aye. And that's just because Scooby-Doo keeps getting rebooted (mind you, I DO like the Mystery Incorporated show, if only because they had the sense to set it in the 60s, where the characters were still relevant and weren't wearing oddly outdated clothing, and to make the threats genuinely scary as opposed to simply goofy.
These would be better if they had characters from the following: Ed Edd N Eddy, Dexter's Lab, Camp Lazlo, Foster's Home, Teen Titans, Powerpuff Girls, Kids Next Door, Johnny Bravo and Puffy Ami Yumi.
Examples-
Security Guard (to Ed): Sir, I'm gonna have to see your luggage.
*Opens it to find Buttered Toast & Gravy*
Guard: 0___0
Security Guard(to Puffy Ami Yumi): Sure, I can let you girls through.
@thomasedsfan Aye. But the characters in these clips are from shows that are currently on television, and unfortunately no show you listed is currently on air. I WISH they were, but... sigh.
@kenfugo Well, the reason they have Bugs, Daffy, Scooby and Shaggy here is because their new shows "Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated" and "The Looney Tunes Show", although they also have Tom and Jerry, which don't have any show with new episodes, except movies from time to time.
