is it just me or is this guy the best damn dvd reviewer, tv show reviewer, comic book reviewer, video game reviewer and every thing else reviewer in the whole world even universe even or even on youtube:D
@Zaranyzerak Oh yes, I know that. *just got slapped in the face*, but I wonder if Fox and WB can agree on the movie, why can't they agree on the show? I know cause I own the movie. Not on Blu-Ray though, I got into Blu-Ray a little too late.
@bheemabachus Oh, it's not even THAT simple. most people think it's just because the show was made by Fox and the characters are owned by Warner, but that's only the BEGINNING of the issues surrounding that show...(and apparently that particular issue isn't even the biggest one, and wouldn't be the easiest to sort out) It really is a mess. Ditto the old Green Hornet show from the same era. Which had the same producers...no coincidence there, I'm sure.
Back in the 80's my local UHF tv station used to air a 3-hour afternoon block of classic sitcoms such as Green Acres, Hogan's Heroes, Here's Lucy, etc. What show did they lead it all off with starting at noon? Get Smart, of course.
what did you think of the recent Get Smart film? I've never seen, so I don't know how good it is. I think it sucks the 60's Batman series hasn't been released on DVD.
I know what's more ignorer. Buying a two disc DVD set, and have the same damn disc in box. It's happened to me twice where I've gotten two copies of the same film and no bonus disc. It's such a hassle in just trying to get a replacement disc for the bonus disc.
I think the layered flaps similar to the TV intro is overkill but aside from that the outer case is sturdy, the 5 season sets themselves come in beautiful slipcases, massive amounts of quality artwork, booklets, and so on so forth.
I also watched this from a young age, and also my dad recorded it all the time like marathons for us all to enjoy in the early 80's. Its always been my favorite show.
I just wanted to tell you that I have really enjoyed your tumblr posts and I can't wait to see the rest of your video game collection. Would love to see more gameplay posts. Have you thought about playing Heavy Rain yet? It would be a great title for you to use as a playthrough video.
Now that is indeed a complete series set done right. Great show & super nice presentation. You gave a lot of info there I never knew man great episode! Makes you long yet again for the damn copyright issues to get sloved so we can get 60's Batman gahh!
There is also a forgettable short lived 1995 "Get Smart" Tv Show which Primarily revolves around Andy Dick as the Son of Max and 99' thou it has Adam and Barbara Reprising their roles. It had a DVD release in 2008 but don't get mislead into buying it unless you want to, as it is also named "Get Smart: The Complete Series"
I would love to know what you think of the Saw franchise. Personally, I love it. Great story, twists and gore. I think it would be something you would enjoy. Just wanted to know if you've watched them. Thanks.
U CAN BUY THEM FOR 12.50 EACH AT FUTURE SHOP! HOW MUCH DID U PAY FOR THAT BOX SET?
