@simplex237 Yes actually I did and I highly advise against it. If I would have known at the time I would have used the proper wire for the entire setup. If I ever have a shot at running new wire for the system I certainly will, as I have some leftover FA cable that was given to me from a new install job that I worked at.

the panel dosen't look safe all of the mains connections are exposed and some one resetting the panel could get hurt i think the manufacture should redesign their panels the uk design has the buttons on the outside so there is no need to open the panel apart from mantainance. to operate the panelsyou have a key switch or code entry...... i have a C-TEC CFP Apollo fire alarmsystem it can be two wire or four i used four 2 wires for sounder circuit and two for detectors and callpoints

I wouldn't even think about it. They have new pull stations that shoot ink, so if you have those, or even not, DO NOT pull it. Somebody at my school did that, and they went to juvee for a week.

@chicagolandhobby haha sorry dude but an ink shooting pullstation is a myth never been invented....though its a good idea its not a real one the most that pullstations have for a security type protection is usually a plastic dome cover called a/the stopper that may or maynot have a LOUD siren in it (there is really allmost no way to tell if it does or not until you pull the cover off the wall)

Huh. Didn't know that, but at my school, they have some sort of powder that they put on the back of the T-bars so if someone pulls the alarm, after five minutes or so the powder becomes visible from the heat of your hands, and you can't wash it off, it comes off in about an hour.

i have 1 good advice if their is a pull near the door then pull it and bring ur bike so u can get away faster make sure no adult or secrurity camra if it has a stoper open and pull it and run at the end AND RECORD it and show me. If u follow my advice u will 99.9% wont get caught and make sure the coaost is clear inside and outside ok so Follow this if u dont want to get cop

Signal coding is basically the cadence that the alarm sounds in. In this case, Code-3 or "temporal) is a pattern where the horn sounds in a pattern of 1/2 second on, and 1/2 second off three times. Then 1.5 seconds off. Then repeats that same pattern. Continuous is just a steady alarm tone. Hope this helps

You might want to ground the tornado siren since it's so far up off the ground. i did that with my antenna outside so if it gets struck by lightning it doesnt screw up your equipment inside.
