Ok, i allso found another very important thing about the ones settled around Roman. After the Battle of Baia Stephen the Great campained in Transilvania to capture Petru Aron. He retreated together with 100 000 people and settled these in Moldova, many of them were settled there. It is possible that these are the remains of this population wich at that that time was about a fifth of the entire population of Moldova.These happened in 1468.
the csangos are romanian people who have been hungarianised in the middle ages....they speak hungarian because the catholic faith was imposed on them ...and the service in the church was performed in hungarian by that time...genetically they are romanians who lost their identity....
This was absolutely beautiful, thank you. I've been trying to figure out everything regarding that region and never really found a logical string within the Romanian history. One grabs on to an idea, but that changes within 10 years or so. The most logical explanation would be that "Romanians" actually went into E. Europe with the Cumans. That would definitely mean that they have a long history, but atm they are far from the truth. Probably that's why their history is so blurry.

But its difficult cause almost every village there is a differen dialect of old hungarian language (southern dialect from the middle ages, sekler dialect from middle ages / XVIII century ect...)
There is still unity in their dialect although some differences are there because there are seklers that have also migrated there. Romanians cannot create books for them and neither can the Hungarians or the seklers. They need someone of their own to avoid suspicions over the end product such as a manual. In regards of the church it is the problem of the Vatican as they report there not in our country. Make no mistake though the overwhelming majority of Catholics are Romanian.

We don't asimilate them but they are choosing sides because of rising nationalism. The romanians make them romanians and the hungarians make them hungarians. Should they have had access to all the DNA in the world history is still history and that wouldn`t have changed their opinion at all, genetics does not equal ethnic origin. There are some Csango villages in which there has been quite a lot of mixing with Romanians, on the other hand there are villages where hardly any mixing has taken place. Czechs and Slovaks aren't genetically Slavs, should they hate themselves for that ? Should they hate their culture and language?

nici eu sincer nu-i inteleg...toate izvoarele istorice ii atesta pe ceangai ca fiind populatie de origine maghiara stabilita in secolul XIII in zona Bacaului. There are 250 thousands catholics in Moldova, but only 1000 declared themselves "Csango", and that is less than 1%. Only that 1000 spoke a language having Hungarians words. out of 1220 people 1188 were Hungarians
so if you catholic you're probably Csango.

Ok, i allso found another very important thing about the ones settled around Roman. After the Battle of Baia Stephen the Great campained in Transilvania to capture Petru Aron. He retreated together with 100 000 people and settled these in Moldova, many of them were settled there. It is possible that these are the remains of this population wich at that that time was about a fifth of the entire population of Moldova.These happened in 1468.

This was absolutely beautiful, thank you. I've been trying to figure out everything regarding that region and never really found a logical string within the Romanian history. One grabs on to an idea, but that changes within 10 years or so. The most logical explanation would be that "Romanians" actually went into E. Europe with the Cumans. That would definitely mean that they have a long history, but atm they are far from the truth. Probably that's why their history is so blurry.

You say that you treasure their dialect but your teachers teach them Hungarian not Ceangaiasca as they call it. There is still unity in their dialect although some differences are there because there are seklers that have also migrated there. Romanians cannot create books for them and neither can the Hungarians or the seklers. They need someone of their own to avoid suspicions over the end product such as a manual. In regards of the church it is the problem of the Vatican as they report there not in our country. Make no mistake though the overwhelming majority of Catholics are Romanian.

Should they have had access to all the DNA in the world history is still history and that wouldn`t have changed their opinion at all, genetics does not equal ethnic origin. There are some Csango villages in which there has been quite a lot of mixing with Romanians, on the other hand there are villages where hardly any mixing has taken place. Czechs and Slovaks aren't genetically Slavs, should they hate themselves for that ? Should they hate their culture and language?

I'm not mixing it up, on the contrary I'm drawing the line between DNA and ethnicity. People of the same ethnicity may be genetically different. Idealism is one way to put it, and quite frankly I'm getting tired of standing up for the rights of people who are just giving up on all their rights. The attitude of many Csangos is a disappointment for me, but there are also those who still find pride in their Catholic faith and Hungarian tongue. Those are the people I am proud of.

Csango-Hungarian is a very old form of Medieval Hungarian, untouched by the language reform of the 19th century that created modern Hungarian, spoken in Hungary and the former Hungarian Kingdom today. Chiar admiram vara trecuta, cand fusei in vacanta la bunica-mea, o nunta din satul vecin de ceangai. Romanii n-au fost in stare sa pastreze aceste traditii nici macar in mediul rural. In Pustiana zilele mari sunt serbate in costum national, la nunta se perinda pe ulite tineri pe cai, totul decurge probabil ca acum sute de ani. Si totusi sunt mult mai moderni si open-minded fata de romanii din satele vecine. Sunt mult mai intreprinzatori si gospodari.

It was founded at the initiative of a Hungarian king, with Hungarian aid and support, and there were many Hungarians living peacefully alongside Saxons and Romanians in Moldova. until about 100 years ago, when you decided you don't want any Hungarians in Moldova. Csangos have always been loyal to Romania, and have never had any political demands other than being allowed to keep their traditions, identity and language.

Even if you consider yourselves Dacians, that doesn't mean Romania was founded in 106. Romania was founded in the 19th century- please don't try to stretch history. Because by trying to stretch it, you sound just like the Hungarian nationalists who say Hungarians have ruled the Carpathian Basin for 1700 years starting with the Hunnic conquest of the Carpathian basin.
As you stated, Hungary was founded in 1000, not the 4th century. In the same way, Romania was founded in 1859, not 106.

There are 250 thousands catholics in Moldova, but only 1000 declared themselves "Csango", and that is less than 1%. Only that 1000 spoke a language having Hungarians words. And do you know why Hungarin linguists claim it sound like the medieval Hungarian? Because in that period of time started the agressive linguistical assimilation process in Hungary, and all the people were forced to learn Magyar language, even if nobody in Hungary is of "magyar" blood.

By the way, the Csango dialect doesn't have "Hungarian words", it is entirely a dialect of Hungarian with full Hungarian grammar and I absolutely guarantee you wouldn't understand 2 words from a person speaking Csango. The only Romanian words in this dialect are the ones borrowed from Romanians with the passing of time, or introduced due to the lack of their Hungarian counterparts which were introduced during the Hungarian language reform, which did not reach the Csangos.

During Cantemir's time, Moldova was bigger than it is today, including parts of Ukraine and of Poland also. The borders were different. Those "hungarians" brought in Moldova, were not "hungarians" because there is no such ethnic group. All the Hungarians are people who have been linguistically asimilated by a foreign elite. The people from Hungary or Romania are NOT related with the "historical" magyars.
