Critical thinking has to be instilled into children early on. That way they'll be less likely to be manipulated ala Edward Bernays. I personally don't watch TV anymore. That has proven to be the government's most effective weapon of mass destruction. It gives folks a very narrow view of things. Thank god for the internet so the truth has a chance to advertise as well!!

I distinctly remembered when the 1974 energy crisis was in full swing that Walter Cronkite had a news story that said that we had enough oil until 1991. I guess that was the way it was. :-P

Schools are corrupt because they have to dance with the devil when they return to the government for funding of the next study. If the school is critical (truthul) of the government they will not get funding for the next study. I read this in the criminology book that I got my question is why read anymore of any book associated with schools that are biased by the government?

@imyourgod2 I have a different view. Politicians lie because they are looking out for their best interest. Whereas an entrepreneur seeking his own self interest will inevitably help others through the process by bringing demanded goods to the market and providing incomes not present prior (if he doesn't do this, he fails), a politician instead uses and increases the force of government in serving his interests. Government doesn't work because of this, not the other way around.
