This is the M260VA, which like most so-called 720P LCDs is actually a 1366x768 (oddball resolution) TV. that has to scale everything it takes in except for PC stuff.
I got the M260MV which is 1920x1080 and will do pixel perfect (no scaling) 1920x1080p60Hz from a computer over HDMI or DVI-HDMI, I haven't tested it over the VGA input.
Note that the dynamic backlight feature on my model does not work for an RGB (DVI mode) over HDMI signal, only for a Y/Pb/Pr (HDMI mode) signal.
I was looking at this exact TV before watchin this review specifically for an external for my macbook pro 13" and this video has sold me on it : ) Thanks a lot AppleTecki
I just bought this tv and cant wait for it finaly get here. Thank you for posting this it looks like a great tv. And now you made me anticipate its arrival even more so. lol
I have the same TV purchased from Wal-Mart as well in Oct/2010. It works great and the picture is nice, however about a week or 2 after I purchased it, I have now experienced a "tapping/clicking" noise shortly after you turn it on and also when you turn it off. It makes this noise for about 30 minutes to almost an hour. I don't know if this is normal or a defect????
Sweet vid, & TV! I was looking at this TV in the store today. How does it look with the macbook. What does the monitor resolution on the TV when you connect it to the macbook? Does it support 1920x1080 as a monitor?
Dvi is hd quality, which all macs do have. Too bad macs are the only one with thunderbolt... ;)

Would the 32" model of this tv be good for blu-ray movies or should I go higher?

@iColassi 1080p through mini display port
AppleTecki 1 year ago
@AppleTecki Oh ok. I thought the TV was only capable of "720" native.
iColassi 1 year ago
@iColassi my xbox is hooked up 1080p
AppleTecki 1 year ago
@iColassi The TV can only display 720P but it can accept a 1080P input signal.
There is no reason for this guy to have his Xbox set to output at 1080P with this display.
