u know that ppl who play by ear r talented so tabs dont really matter as long as ur playing the right notes or chords ...so nice u got tallent keep it up ...i play by ear sometimes but i prefer tabs XD it's alot faster to learn the song
can you help me out ? ive seen your videos eyars ago and am just coming back to them! after i have bent a string up lets say 2 frets ... i cant get a vibrato sound once its been bent!
The most important thing is to make sure your thumb is wrapped around the neck, and not under it. After you bend the note, start shaking it with your arm. It's kind of hard to explain. Lincoln actually gives a great lesson on vibrato in his instructional DVD.
lincoln brewster is a pretty cool guy, he plays at my church like every other week lol if you ever wanna meet him he plays at bayside church in granite bay, pretty cool guy
have you done his heart of worship instermental? i wanna learn it so i caan teach it to my dad so he can do it at church. u shud post a instructional 4 it
hey man my mom wanted me to learn this song and i came across your video, and i was very impressed with not only the fact that you can nail this song on full speed, but you took the time to make a flawless instructional video that really breaks down what you're playing...perfect tab as well, i appreciate your efforts they really helped me to learn the song. Thanks man, God Bless!!
I saw on the real speed vid of yours that you pressed something around 10th fret or somehwere areound that, before going to the 12th of G string bend. Why didn't you tabbed it???
I've made a few revisions to the tab for better accuracy. Also, some of the fingerings I used in the original video were kinda awkward, so I think it's easier to play this way. I'm always taking suggestions too, so let me know if I'm doing a part wrong and I'll change it. Sorry for the confusion!
Hey man, thanks so much for this.....I've been wanting to learn it but I've always been like 5 notes off....I learned how to play this within this short 40 seconds...God's going to do amazing work through you.
Thank you so much IronDan! It's awesome that you would take the time to share the wealth with everyone else. Part of having such blessings (like your obvious talent) is being able to share it. I can't wait to learn this!
huhu...my finger cant reach.... i have only small hands..my finger can reach only 1-6 fret...

Hey, just curious here, what pedal are you using here? I really like the tone

I'm using the direct out of a Line 6 Spider II. It's not a great amp, but it records direct pretty well.

Have you by any chance written out the tabliture for this lead?

Yes, I posted a link to the tab in the video description.

quick question maybe you can help - there's a little guitar lick at :13 and again at 1:20 on this song. do you perhaps know that lick ??
delpuckett 3 years ago
For that part he's just chugging away on the B5, quickly grabs the F#, and then switches back to the B5. It's a very simple, but cool riff.

No problem, I'm glad you liked it!

Did you mute the 7th fret B string with your index finger?
ephr123 4 years ago
I muted it with my right hand. I think it's easier to do it that way.
