ive been to the sea of cortez , and went around by ceralvo island and caught a few dorado and i stay sometimes in the summer because my family has a sail boat in la paz mexico, i was about 13, a few years before that my dad caught a 55 pound dorado.

i was in costa rica last week iwe hooked a big needle fish a dorado ate it and got hooked while my dad was reeling and trying to hand it to me i was reeling something i didnt know what it was then a sailfish jumped out of the water we let the dorado go and i caught the sailfish after an hour

im 13 and that was my first time deep sea fishing and it was after 5 minutesthat i hooked it i also a rooster fish two of the most saught after fish and i got them in one day first time

If i could fish ona boat then id be happy but i can only catch 7 in bass in the local pond poor meh

i have caught sailfish barracudas tuna etc lots of fish but never a dorado, its my goal

@ps3freakish - Sorry it took so long to get back to you. The fish weighed in on an IGFA scale at 20.5 lbs.

Way ta go Ryan. Nicely done My son is only 11 and has had the luxury of catching a few thousand fish in Canada Including the elusive MUSKY. Looking forward to his first Deep Sea fishing trip this year.

Ah that was probably his Father.....so I think he like most fathers would be cheering. I thought it was great I was grinning from ear to ear. Great first fish for the young man and well done by the cameraman.!!!

nice one kid. i catch 2ft dorados/dolfin-fish with a hand held line. you feel the fish beter but you rip up you'r hand with the bigies.
