Hi there, was wondering does the MPC have built in sounds? I'm interested in one and just wanted to know or does it only use midi sounds / samples you load onto the machine
Any help would be awesome thanks :)
i only sort of skimmed through the video so if they were answered terribly sorry
@CarveTheName - Thank you for your comment - Yes the MPC500 and MPC1000 both ship with 111.4 MB of samples/programs loaded on to the included Compact Flash Card. 4.8 MB of these same sounds are also pre-loaded onto the unit's internal flash memory as demo content. These include: Basses, Beatbox, Kits, Percussion, Toolkits, Phatloops, Keys and Strings.
The voice audio is much improved in this latest vodcast - thanks. Wanted to suggest that next time you hold the demo unit still for longer while you're explaining the buttons so we get a good chance to take a look at them and the surrounding buttons.
@innerteapot - Thanks for the comment - yes, I somehow lost our microphone recording on the last podcast, so we had to revert to the audio recorded by the camera's mic, which is obviously not ideal! lol
Good suggestion re holding the unit still, I'll make sure we do that in future.
