@captinarmend15 You have to get a patch for it. Go to hce.halomaps.org and type "Halo Custom Edition patch 1.0.9".

it seems that the flood spider enters in the body of the human, and then it takes the place of the torso of the victim...

after the transformation, we can see the three red rods in replacement to the head..

the spider uses the body of the victim as a simple vehicle.. :D

@dannyg846 I agree but I find it is best avoid the flood when fighting carriers the floods with big heads throw 2 or 3 plasma grenade 1st triggers it second kills some of the infectors (the tiny ones) 3rd well to get rid of more infectors
