I've got a bugera 1960 marshall plexi clone. I have a schecter damian elite and a pod hd500 I run through the 1960's fx loop and I can get any tone you can imagine. I love bugera and line6. The product design manager hinted their may be a spider v out soon with the hd500 technology. That's a new amp you should save up for.

It does have a mesa feel to it,,I miss this amp damn!!!! Sold for 250 bucks,,head and custom eminence cab,,needed cash bad,,,sucks!!!!

 It does have a nice clean crunch to it,,,just a little to much bass IMO!!

But thats the fun of playing around and experimenting,,,this pod sounds like crap on all my other amps,,,only the marshall likes it.

I think the tone was cool, heavy but too much reverb and could have been a touch beefier (bass).

@zzlong55 Its a cool tone if ur just playing the guitar by itself,as we know it gets quite boring sometimes with the same tone...this one is cool because it shakes the whole house but obviously not good for a band scenerio. I would just use a 6505 with a touch of rev/delay!!

Tone is absolutely dreadful. Completely processed, fake sounding shit. Get yourself a tube amp and throw that piece of plastic in the garbage.

Nice. I have the original Valvestate 8100 with 8412 cab. I'm putting my XT Live through return, so the preamp is bypassed. And it sounds awesome, I can only think how good would it sound with a better cab :D

@herestolife32 If you run it thru a marshall hybrid with eminence speakers you can,but I tried it with othe amps and it doesnt sound as full.

Yes...they are really good for the price and I cant tell a difference between the V-30 and these ;-)
