I only found out the other day that this is not American but British built sports car, only thing American on it is the dollars that paid for The british to disign it. :( darn those british, but i suppose thats why it's really small and not big like our cars.
@silverwood2 - The design of the car is British but its powered by American Muscle... The fastest car in the world isn't fast because of the way it looks, but its powerplant... European beauty with American Muscle is a deadly duo...
It's a MK1 replica. The original MK1 was RHD (just a few MKIII were LHD) and didn't have those air intakes in the rear (a.k.a. MK2 periscopes). It still looks great :D
MINDCRIME73 is right. It's not a MkII. It looks like a modified MkI. It has MkII-like intakes on the rear deck but they're in a different position. And the rest of the body is more like a MkI.
7 liter was the hallmark of the MKII. 427 Ford. Single carb medium riser engine, slightly detuned for reliability among other things from the way they were run in Nascar at the time.

@JayGeePee1 If it looked like a box on wheels it probably wouldn't go very fast. aerodynamics are important too lol

@andyj288
Well it's a MKI with modifications to look like MKII, MKI's didn't have those air inlets on the hood.
