Everyone is different. A week after insertion, no complications. Didn't get my first period with paraguard so I'll see in about two weeks.

this is definitely helpful. i just had my IUD (paragard) inserted on tuesday, and i'm the same way... i had MAD crazy cramping when i wasn't on hormones ... so I'm really curious as to how I'm gonna be feeling when i get my next period (sometime the end of Nov).

I got my (paragard) IUD in feb it was really bad pain when they put it in, then it got better n my periods weren't that bad at first but now, its really bad craping everytime i get it really bad bleeding and for like 2 weeks so im going to the D.R thing ima get it takin out.

Hey! No I dont think you are sharing to much, your helpingpeople with your experience! I just got mine in this morning, But only difference is I had a baby 7 months ago and am breast feeding so We shall see how my periods turn out, Good Luck and keep the videos coming please! =]
