However gc controller button layout is not very suitable for this kind of games, so if you plan to get this game, I would recomend you to get at least a classic controller.

@Rockeits Honestly, I think the game will come equipped with a tutorial or some kind of mission mode to get players accustomed to the game but I still like what you did, laying out the features in one simple video. Plus your explanations on how you should apply the features definitely goes one step beyond what a game may be willing to explain (gets your mind in the right frame of thought on to build proper strategy).

@Takeshi607 No offense, but that's impossible lol. You should try a fight stick. They are really great for making combos easier to pull off and the buttons are easy to find. They cost $80-$150. I saw one that came with TvC for only $80 at Gamestop.

@CloudStrifeTheGuy there is no need for that, a classic controller can be as good as a fighting stick for this game... and it's more useful for other games and far far cheaper. Well, appart from that, the only difference is that instead dislocating your wrist, you dislocate your thumb

@Johnnycrazy18 It can be a bit annoying to pull off. You have to be extremely close to the enemy. I would reccomend using it as soon as you follow into the air or after one or two light attacks. Its also easier when the enemy is trapped against the wall.

It's from Killer Instinct. That game was heavily focused on combos and whenever you broke your opponent's combo, the announcer said "C,C,C,Combo Breaker!!!"

The only problem I have is commiting the very long combos in the air. I noticed that the CPU does this to all the time, but I can never do it back. The longest i can do is 2 weak attacks and 2 strong attacks, then I'm no longer able to keep it up. O.o

It can be done on both, and yes those are the button configurations for it, but, I prefer pushing forward two times, or backwards two times ( you have to push them fast by the way)

QuarterCircleForward motion on the analog stick + pressing the Partner button while in midair = Variable Aerail Rave, which is a very powerful aerial combo.

QuarterCircleForward motion on the analog stick + Light Attack + Medium Attack. I'm not sure which buttons are light (A), medium (B) and heavy (C) attacks on which controllers. but this is the input for a super I think.

The controls are set up so that the right shoulder button simulates pressing the light, moderate, and heavy attacks at the same time. You can Advance Guard and three-button dash that way.
