It's actually a Traditional SCOTTISH song, which was then "revived by Francis McPeake" - Who is Irish. The song was composed by Robert Tannahill originally...
This is amazing, I love this guitar. Would you mind if I used this and sang over it? In honor of the St. Patrick's Day that I can't celebrate and my grandparents who loved this song.
first off I love the feeling you put into this allready amazing song and the warmth of your guitar is really nice.
I myself am clasicly schooled, so I can't use tabs at all. would there be any way you could direct me to find partitures* of this song? (* I didn't know the correct english word for this, what i mean is the paper with the beams and notes on it? ^^ )
the guitar is the alhambra luthier india, spruce? which model? I want to buy a alhambra luthier there in Spain, can you tell me the model? the sound is perfect!
congratulations on this one, it made me want to know how to play it ;P

This is absolutely charming! who composed it?
lebnene 1 year ago
@lebnene : I just read it on Wiki and it turns out not to be a traditional Irish song and has a copyright:
"written by William McPeake, a native of Belfast, Northern Ireland and first recorded by McPeake in 1957."
