Super thank you sa very clear video, I haven't been home since 1997, what a complete change, Metro Manila. If you are from Batangas, do you know Batulao (a resort in the past)? I missed the concert in San Diego, this is their second time, I was on a trip, it was sold out. The land where Shangri la used be was empty for a long time. The owner graded a small mountain there, only 1 bldg existed for so many years, I think it was called the Emerald bldg or Ortigas bldg.we used to practice driving

Mall of ASIA is a must see for "balikbayans" & foreigners alike. The mall itself is so huge. The park by the bay/sea is an excellent place to stroll around & play. Wheather permitting, great fireworks are on display every weekend (7:00 - 7:10 PM). There are many nice restaurants inside the mall & along the bay. There's also an olympic-size skating rink inside the mall. Don't miss this mall when you come to Manila!

The World Bank consultants said not to reclaim the sea along Manila Bay because the land where PICC, Folk Arts, etc were built sinks like one inch a year. I do not know who gave SM the permit to reclaim the sea for their big mall. Well it might be under the sea in the future, so we can go there with our scuba gears :)

anjojune, Camp John Hay Hotel is the best hotel in Baguio. The view is off the city area. As you know, CJH was American recreation centre ito dati. Magpa-reserve ka na, via the internet asap. Puno lagi yan esp. christmas time.

I was there with them...and YES Philippines has plenty of poverty, but they are WONDERFUL people...they are so gracious and hospitable. It's my home, where the heart is whatever the temp. is. I still love our country. I think Filipinos(us , proud to sa), are the most lovable people in this planet. Our resilience never ceases.
