Very good version of an epic song. I personally think that Sypha's design in Castlevania Judgment is succesful, I can just imagine her just putting a robe on and look just like Sypha in Dracula's Curse ^^-b

For it being the first Castlevania fighting game i think it delivered nicely. Great Music, good character selection and a unique style of play control. i give castlevania judgement a 7/10.

No throws = game is broken cause you can block forever...ho and the unblockable moves? to slow to be of any use.

If i remember correctly one of the reasons they chose a fighting game was they were afraid it would be too fatiguing to use the Wiimote to navigate a "Normal-type" game.

I'm sure it couldn't have been that. People have made "normal", what I'm assuming you mean "not a fighting", games using the Wii's control scheme, like TP, Galazy, hell even SPM just had players use the controlled sideways to make it feel like an old style platformer.

This "unique" gameplay makes more a "multiplayer castlevania" that a real fighting game. It is that i don't like in Judgement. That, and the poor possibilities (3 specials per char, 14 chars...)

I think that it's Carmilla's theme. I had to admit that her design is better than before.

Camilla's theme? Errr what? This theme came in Castlevania 2 and is named BLOODY TEARS for a reason - Dracula put a curse on simon which made his tears into blood (In other words lepracy) So if anything its Simons 2nd theme.

Bloody Tears was the daytime theme of CV 2.

The rationale for using it as Carmilla's theme in Judgement was that in CV2, (and also Rondo of Blood, where she also appears as a boss) her boss fight shows her represented as a mask that dropped red tears on you. In Rondo, these tears were changed to fireballs, but they still kept the red color.

Also, the medical condition where tears contain blood is called "Haemolacria". Leprosy is a skin disease. ;)

In Simon's quest (my favorite CV because my first one ! nostalgia ! ) Carmilla is a mask you must fight for gain gold cross, if i remember well.

Too bad her "iron maiden" do not figure the Carmilla mask face :-( .
