Hi! Love your cage. So cool. I have one 9 month old guinea pig and my room where I keep her cage is quite small, so how do you think I can make sure she won't get too cramped in her cage? I got her a C & C cage, but I don't know where to find a base like that.... same with flease bedding/ bottom. Would you mind explaining that? Thanks! :)

I like the concept with the fleece, but I'm missing the hay! Only a small hay rack isn't enough, and it's not a natural way for guinea pigs to eat. They like to eat from the ground.

I absolutely love this! We just adopted a couple of male guinea pigs a week and a half ago. I'm loving being a guinea pig mama. Our kids love to feed them and watch them, too. We did buy a cage from the pet shop but would prefer to make something ourselves for them. I was searching for guinea pig videos to entertain my kids (girls, ages 3 and 4) and found your channel. @chickiide77 go check out skinnypigs1 channel but you cant get the grids from your local market and the chlorplast is just like what signs are made out of and you can get that from your hardware store like lowes or something

my guinea pigs jump really high and i was just wondering if it would still be alright to build a c&c cage

@joelycurtis A C&C cage is made out of grids and coroplast. Grids are each 14 inches by 14 inches, and so if you made a C&C cage, your pig would need to jump more than a foot high! Just be careful if your pig is a good jumper. I would make the sides of the cage 12 inches high, and be careful not to put anything they could climb on next to an open side where they could get, and I would put the cage against a wall so that you can put huts etc. on the side by the wall so it can't jump out!
