Springsteen made Rock and Roll Fun again. For awhile Rock and Roll had become too serious but those first few albums are a ball. They aren't blithe or oblivious. They are realistic but they aren't melancholy. Their is still an inherent joy in them and a quixotic hope.
Here's a bad thats been together since the early to mid 70's (the core that is) Not once has there ever been a report of impropriorty amongst them. All they have done is put on and made some of the most incredible ass kicking rock and roll shows in history time and time again. I've follwed the Estreet band since I was a kid of 14 years old starting at the Nassua Collosuim new years eve 1980. I've been hooked ever since. Rest in peace Mr.Danny Federici and Mr. Clarence Clemons.
"OLDER" people have the power. This is an amazing song.U feel the power and the energy. It jumps out of the screen and grab u on your throat.
And now the saddest Part: it is the last time to hear the wonderfull sax from the BIG MAN. The E-Street Band will never be the same without him ( but I hope they come back on Tour...please).
R.I.P. BIG MAN your body is gone ... but your soul lives on with every song that will be played on the radio or be seen on DVD/ BR.
Man!!! Bruce Springsteen was born to perform......I'm really going to miss the Big Man.....RIP Clarence Clemmons and thank you for all of the fantastic music and memories
I'm old man! I was young when this was new . I smiled then ...I smile Now! I loved these guys and love them still. Bruce you SOB-damn you will always be THE BOSS. Rock and Roll GODS-Fuck Hyperbole the essence of sound and Lords of Rock-always and forever...
@Scerni01 Clarence's passing sure makes this concert just that much more special. Somewhere, the hinges to St. Peter's Gate have been irreparably WIDENED.
