Hi,a question if you could answer please..... i have the exact same programme but when you do the pre flight check list at 6:02 he gives you your correct altimimeter as 29.92,with mine he gives 10.13 when the alt shown is 29.92,do you know how to change this,thanks

@saitekrumblepad 2992 In is actually 1013 HPa. So your First officer says the correct altimeter. So what's the problem?

um i got the 747 fs2crew edition and when i go to fsx and load up the 747 and go to panels i see the fs2cew thing but when i click it a black box comes up with nothing on it

Is it possible to start the 747 disabled ?? Cant find any buttom in settings that asks if I whant to start with the aircraft upp and running or disabled?

Yes it is possible, it is called a cold & dark start up. The easiest way to do this is load a Cessna 172 and pull out the mixture, and turn off the mags, then load the 747 and everything will be off.

Just wondering. Can you start up this 747 (with FS2Crew) warm with ext. power, like the FS2Crew MD-11 version? I'm asking because starting from cold and dark is kind of unrealistic. Pilots usually enter the aircraft when its at a warm and ext power state.

I am not sure if you can do that. Contact FS2Crew, I am sure they can answer your question. I know with the FS2Crew 737 for FSX, you can start at any state you want to.

The airlines do not come with FSX, you need to download the airline paints. The speeches used in FS2Crew 747 for FSX can be selected to what airline you are flying, but they do not have all the airlines.

what do i do then? you know when you go to the pmdg747 part in fs2crew on the bottom right corner there is keyboard and joystick comands i think they are the main and secondary buttons for the joystick and the keyboard but i tries doing them and when i pressed them the checklist did not start i don't know why what do i do?

The Main Button should be Numeric Key Pad Minus.

The Secondary Button should be Numeric Key Pad Plus

Load the FS2Crew Configuration Manager, you should be able to set the main and secondary buttons there.

i tried those red light and green light buttons with the joystick comand but it didn't work and in the manual it said that those were the primary and secondary buttons but they still did not work what do i do

You are getting the versions mixed up. F2Crew 747 for FSX, does not have the red and green buttons. The red and green buttons belongs to FS2Crew 737 for FS 2004. So I am not sure which version you have, because you are mixing them up.

its doesn't tell you HOW to set them up though on the manual. at first i thought that it was those buttons that say green light and red light that you need to change! but it wasn't now i am back to square one. what button do you use for starting the checklists? can you tell me how you set it up exactly. thnks

the red and green buttons in the fs2crew control panel are from the 737 version for flight simulator 2004. It has nothing to do with this version for FSX.

When you install fs2crew, in the instruction manual, they tell you which two buttons you need to set up. In flight simulator you need to go controls, and find those two buttons and change them to fs2crew primary and secondary buttons

after clicking on the them, and when the yellow light appears, you have to call for that checklist, they wont start on their own. You call for the checklist using the main FS2 crew button, which is programmed during the installation of fs2 crew.

It is not an add on. It comes with Flight Simulator X, you need to have your scenery settings to complex or very high.

No its not an addon. You need to have your scenery set to max to see the cars come up and service your plane. You need to open the cargo doors. The default button for this is ctrl-e plus # 2 at the same time. That will open the cargo doors and then the cars will come up to service your plane.
