@NotEntertaining thats not true.. hes just very shy i think.. and was only really relaxed with proper friends.

i met him at the liverpool salomon tour stop many years ago.. he signed all the kids autographs but mostly didnt want to be in the limelight.

i dont think hes into the celebrity shit.. i got the feeling he just wanted to skate... or not skate.

must be hard to handle a bunch of kids staring at you at every skatepark you go to... not everyone handles that shit well.

heartyhoopz1184, some people don't do what they do because its trendy or fashionable, they do it because they truly love the sport. Its the same reason most people's grandpa's still play golf :)

I'm looking forward to seeing some of these originators do this at 70 (when skates will shoot lazers that wax curbs and such)

but i havent seen a pair of aggressive rollerblades in the sports stores in like 8 years (at least the stores where ive always gone). nor do i see them around on the streets, so i honestly thought it died.
